Not even the forum post alludes r/ape, but rather how it would go down if Cullen and Amell ended up getting romantic after Cullen’s mind-torture experience when he’d be paranoid and disapproving of mages but at the same time still feel his attraction towards Amell and the writer basically said it would be a quick, violent and messy experience, something like that, ‘just to get her out of his system’ if it ever did happen.

11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

I like Shae a lot. She gets so much hate for “betraying” Tyrion but no one ever wants to talk about the fact that Tyrion brought Shae to King’s Landing (in the books it’s to spite Tywin and in the show it’s because she insists, but either way, he had a choice) and the only reason she testified against him/slept with Tywin is because she was in way over her head and almost definitely didn’t have much choice in the matter. Definitely prefer show!Shae to book!Shae but either way, I think they both get a lot of unnecessary flak.
