and this is why he also hates her. she's a human! how dare she upstage him? his entire purpose was to kill S.T.A.R.S. members, and he can't even do that! she represents his failure, and for that he wants her dead. if he can't kill her, then what is he good for?

Relationship Headcanons // ACCEPTING

Nemesis is a lot of firsts for X, he has seen other tyrants but he was never really given a chance to interact with one. He is unused to being in close proximity with someone larger than himself and one who looks so different, it’s strange but the good kind of strange. T-00 is always slow to trust but the process has been much easier with the other tyrant, he doesn’t feel the need to keep him within his line of sight or keep a distance. He actually feels comfortable having him closer.

X has never felt as many things as he does when around Nemesis and it can honestly be a little overwhelming, it doesn’t really bother him though, it usually just leads him to being slow to react when caught off guard by something. Mr. X tends to be surprised by affection, he enjoys it though. Through Nemesis he has learned a lot about himself already. He never saw himself as being able to enjoy having anyone so close but he has discovered that he quite likes holding hands and cuddling, and it's not just the actions themselves, it’s Nemesis that makes it enjoyable.

T-00 has begun to realize that he really likes Nemesis, love is entirely foreign to him so developing these feelings has led to a bit of confusion but that isn’t new in regards to being around Nemesis. X likes to give him random things he finds as well as some of his food to show that he really enjoys his company, he also tries to show affection in ways that he is used to. He’ll try to hold his hand or press his face against him with the occasional hug thrown in, he usually doesn’t initiate physical affection but he wants Nemesis to know that he likes him.

T-00 is usually very passive when it comes to how the staff treat him, it isn’t ideal but it is all he knows. That doesn’t apply to how they treat Nemesis however. He knows that neither of them are treated well and he doesn’t want them to hurt him, X could possibly get himself in trouble over Nemesis if he were to see or hear any mistreatment of him. He is protective of who/what he gets attached to; this could lead to anything from growling at a handler or possibly even stepping between Nemesis and one of them depending on the circumstance. Mr. X cares very little about what would happen to him and that paired up with not thinking the decision through could get him in a lot of trouble with the staff. X can be selfish when it comes to the suffering of others but he’s far too attached to stand idly if he thinks Nemesis could be hurt or upset by something.
