Things are changing so quickly... - @tyrantborne
Siiiiiigh.
Rose could do nothing else but mope around the mansion and wrap herself in a world of nostalgia; entertaining memories of the past of her family together and happy as they used to be. What had become of her? Once a ruthless killer turned into a soft-hearted mother, whimpering for a purpose to those close to her and yet they all were moving on, the only one among them that seemed okay with all this change was Vergil. Then again, even though she’d known him for quite a while she was often lost on his subtly... was he not also sad their daughters were growing? That their son was far more hostile and left for hours or days on end to help the man who nearly murdered them both? Was she a horrible mother that had soiled their line?
Nestled on a lush, blue chair in the main family room, the Matriarch was flipping through an old photo album, running her finger along picture after picture, admiring the good and bad times that she had wanted to capture: everything was precious. Her meandering hand eventually turned the book all the way back to the beginning, catching a few photos of when it was just Vergil and herself before the kids were born, adventuring through Hell and above, fighting and vacationing places. Unconsciously her face turned a soft red the longer her eyes lingered on her husband, heart picking up in pace whilst studying the details of his face and then his outfit -- " that was so beautiful, ” came her melodic crooning, “ .. maybe we can go back there. ”
“ I think I need a goddamn hobby. ”
