Friendly reminder that you're not a bad diabetic if you eat that high carb thing and spike. You're not a bad diabetic if you have days when you can't get your numbers under control. You're not a bad diabetic if you can't stop going low or wether at night or other times. You're not a bad diabetic if you don't want to test or inject or change your site. You're not a bad diabetic if you don't want to make a big deal about your hypo or hyper. YOU ARE NOT A BAD DIABETIC!!!! You are reading this which means that you are still alive! That's pretty damn awesome! Keep doing what you need to but don't forget that it's gonna be hard. There are so many variables and there's gonna be times when things aren't gonna go right and that's okay! Please don't be hard on your self when things aren't perfect! You are wonderful and strong! Keep fighting!

Concept: putting little fake fish inside insulin bottles/pens so when ever I open a new box I am pleasantly always surprised
A reoccurring fear
Is that I will get fired for calling out of work when my blood sugars are to high. It’s happened before. And I know I’m not supposed to work if my blood sugars making me feel really sick, but the guilt of calling out crushes me because I believe I can make it through the whole day. When in reality when I work when my bg is like this I eventually get really weak and see stars. I wish I could stop feeling guilty for something I can’t control
