Don't be silly, it's not like MY kids have ever said that...But perhaps with Tykoon, that could change. The idea behind this "reward bank" is to teach today's tech-savvy kids to earn, save, spend, and give responsibly in a way that makes sense to them—online. When kids complete chores or work on other projects they're assigned, they can put that money towards something they're saving up for and track their progress on the computer. (No more tantrums in the toy store!)
Another great thing about Tykoon is that it makes learning into a game by teaching kids tips about financial responsibility in exchange for other non-monetary privileges, like extra TV time or staying up later. This way, kids can truly earn their rewards while becoming more financially responsible at the same time. Of the many good habits I hope to instill in my kids, taking pride in working hard and doing a great job is definitely one of them!

Money management tool for kids. Reward children with financial credit (deducted from a credit card) to spend (through Amazon) or donate to charity by completing chores or saving up a regular allowance. Integrates social sharing with earned badges. Why are they special?
Involve parental oversight to manage spend. Certain permitted product types can be specified in addition to the already kid-safe offerings and final purchases must be approved
Encourage kids to track savings to meet a specific goal; maintain flexibility to actually set allocations for spending, saving, and donating
Include charity as an opportunity for users to get involved with their communities - and the tax deduction reciepts go straight to the caretaker
