This is a painting of Tycroes Square by Gerald Anthony in 1969. Mr Anthony owned the grocery shop in Tycroes Road next to the West Wales Garage in the 1970s. The painting is based on a photograph that was taken in the 1900s before St. Edmund’s Church was built in 1913. If someone does have a copy of the original photograph please let me know. Below are photos of the Christmas Coffer in Tycroes Village hall on Saturday 6th December 2025. Huw Davies from Llandovery presented his collection of historical items, tools and artifacts. 15 items were presented where we had to guess what the items were. It was an interesting morning, The coffee morning also had a Christmas quiz and raffle.

These are photos that I took on Saturday November 1st 2025 of the Old Tycroes Fish and Chip Shop in Tycroes Square. The site is currently half demolished and the development is on stop.
