what faldur “wants” varies in two extremes-so i went for what he wants that would be best for him in the long run if that..makes sense. bc the other thing he wants is more like an angstfest

>In this timeline, Faldur manages to somewhat fix his shit. Somewhat. 

He’s...fine. He’s not perfect, he’s barely even good. But he’s trying. Over time, he slowly trickles off the murdering and cuts the habit. He finally goes to therapy, without throwing a tantrum or trying to scare the therapist into never having him as a patient again. He works on himself, accepts the help, and everything is...just about okay. 

Sure, he’s still working as an assassin on the side, but it’s what his quads suggested. So he can target that urge, instead of indiscriminate killing of innocents. As a result, his quads are no longer strained, his moirail doesn’t need to distance himself once every few months just to handle the strain. His kismesises enjoy spending more time with him, no more fear of outbursts. He’s still grouchy...but he’s better. He writes more books, focuses more on his astronomy. It’s easier to keep his mind away from killing.

But despite all of this, he still can’t reverse that fuck up with Florem from years back. He’s worked so hard, he’s listened to all the advice he’s been given, he’s been trying for damn sweeps, and she still won’t talk to him. And yet, he still can’t let it go. It eats him alive when he cant sleep. He can be as good as he can manage, and it’ll never reverse all of the hurt he’s caused. 

He’d probably live a few hundred, maybe a thousand and a half sweeps before an assassination job goes wrong. A long time, but not even half of his lifespan.

How did you choose their name? 

You know what I don't remember, i know their given name was a product of star wars name generator. I wanted a cool space themed stage name, went ohh stars, and so Supernova on stage and Nova to their friends was born i think.(i do however like that supernovas are dying stars, one last briliant explosion, i do think that says something abt how he sees himself)
