I love your FFXV Family Au, ur an amazing writer, I got an idea tho, what if there was like a ball or something special with Noct and Regis, and they have to have speeches and stuff, Gladio and Iggy have to be beside him and stuff, Prompto is in the crowd with the kids making sure they don't run off but as soon as the girls see Iggy and Gladio they run up and give gladio and Ignis a hug cause they proud daughters, mean while prompto is like "NOO! COME BACK!" (sorry that this is long)
Thanks so much for the compliment! I am glad you like it!!!!
THIS IDEA SO SO FREAKING CUTE! I CANT TAKE IT! AHHHH! NOW I NEED TO WRITE A LITTLE BIT TO BRING THIS IDEA TO LIFE!
âOkay. Do you guys remember what I told you?â Prompto asked the three nicely dressed kids in front of him.Â
All three kids nodded up at the older man. Prompto took a moment to fix them up a little before Noctisâ big speech.
Nikolas had on a suit, similar to his fatherâs kingly raiment just shrunk down and with his unruly hair combed and slicked back out of his face. Both Neveah and Malena had on the same style dress; ruffled sleeves that lead down to a bow at the waist and poofy below the waist. They had their hair in the same style as well, curled and down with a matching headband to keep it out of their faces.
âOkay then. Letâs go get a good spot then.â He said, leading the three kids out into the ballroom where the speech was taking place. Noctis had been practicing on his speech for what seemed like weeks now and it was Promptoâs duty to make sure all went well with the kids. Obviously, Noctâs first choice for watching the kids was Ignis but both Gladio and Ignis had to be on stage next to him. So either it was Prompto or one of the Citadel staff and Prompto offered up to watch them before Noct would even ask a member of the staff.
Prompto and the kids stood off to the side of the crowd, so once the speech was over, all of them could join up easily. Nikolas stood in front of Prompto while the girls stood on either side of Prompto. The crowd a grew around the stage and soon there was a quiet ringing from a glass to signify the start of the speech.
Noct stood up from his spot on stage and approached the podium, looking down at Prompto - who gave him a quick thumbs up. Nikolas smiled as well, giving his dad a little encouragement. Soon after Noctis stood up, Gladio and Ignis took their spots next to him while Clarus took his spot next to Regis.
Both of the girlâs eyes lit up as they saw their parents on the stage. Nikolas caught a glimpse of it but didnât think much of it. Ignis was always strict on them (as well as him) so Nikolas figured they could behave enough to be trusted to stand without someone holding their hands. But once they saw both of them make their way to the front, both girls took off running.
âMal! Nay!â Nikolas called out, but not loud enough for people to know. He tried to catch them but they were quick. Prompto noticed about a half a second later. âShit! Stay here Nikky.â he muttered as he tried to run after him.
âDaddy!â One twin called out.
âPop!â the other followed as they ran closer to the stage.
Ignis heard them first, quickly turning his head to see them running toward the stage. He saw Prompto trying to run after them but it had seemed the girls were a bit faster than him. He quickly nudged Gladio towards the situation and gave him a concerned look. Gladio eyes bludged a little as he saw them running but there was no way he could leave his post to stop them. Noctis had already started the speech and both men werenât sure what to do to keep the twins from charging up the stage. They just hoped Prompto would catch them in time.
âOh no no no no no! Come back please!â Prompto called out as the girls as the stairs off to the sides of the stage. âNeveah! Malena!â he whined, but the girls werenât stopping. Prompto made it all the way to the stairs and tried to grab at least one of them but they slid from his grip.
They ran up the stage and the sound of little footsteps caught Gladioâs attention first, making him chuckle. One girl ran right into Gladioâs legs and the other to Ignisâ, hugging them tightly.
âDaddy and Pop did a good job!â both girls said with a big smile on their face. The audience âawwedâ and laughed at the situation. Both Ignis and Gladio turned a little read in the face, quickly trying to convince the girls to go back to Prompto. Gladio bent over and put Malena on his hip and Ignis bent down to get to Neveahâs level.Â
âYou know Pop and I are working. You two were supposed to stay with your uncle.â Ignis said, trying not to be too loud.Â
âButâŚbutâŚâ Malena started, her pout getting a little deeper.
âWe wanted to come up and stay with daddy and youâŚâ Neveah said, tugging on Ignisâ suit jacket. âWe just wanted to say hiâŚâ she said in a sad tone.
âYeah and say we love you.â Malena added. Ignis and Gladio sighed deeply, knowing they couldnât get mad at them for a reason like that.
âSeems like we got a couple of visitors.â Noctis joked over the mic. The guest chuckled and Ignis quickly picked up Neveah and stood up. He cleared his throat before speaking.
âOur apologies. Our girls are still young and have yet to learn what it means when mum and dad are on duty. I hope you excuse the interruption.â he said in his politest of tones, holding her tightly on his hip.
Prompto was at the front of the stage, sighing heavily. He looked up at Noct and gave him a sad look. âIâm sorryâŚThey just went running and I couldnât stop them.â Prompto confessed.Â
Noctis chuckled and shook his head. âItâs fine Prompto. Why donât you and Nikolas join me up here? This is a family affair right?â
Prompto gave him a warm smile and motioned for Nikolas to join them onstage. Prompto stood next to Noctis and Nikolas stood in front of him, smiling softly at the crowd. Gladio and Ignis kept the girls on their hips the entire time, gently laughing when the girls decided to hug their necks a little tighter or give them a kiss on the cheek. Noctis looked over to Regis, who was smiling softly from his spot and gave him a gentle nod to continue.
Noctis took a deep breath and smiled so he could continue. This ball turned out better than he thought.Â
