It had been sort of flattering, initially, when they’d first happened across each other a while back.  Yuzuha’s never been flirted with before, and given that entire romantic experience is confined to otome games, has a perhaps - tainted view of what counts are romantic versus what goes too far.  But even she gets sick of things eventually, and the flirting has gone from flattering to belittling, and Yuzuha swats the other’s hand away before it can wrap around her shoulder.

(  another reason, too.  she was chatting with ortho not long ago, who’d described an old bully of idia’s but not named names.  the description sounds like...and she’s talked about idia to ness!!  )

“ mm, so that’s the stuff i should sell, ” ollie agrees, neatly dodging sylvia’s attempt to smack them upside the head with an ease that could only be born of practice. 

it was a pleasant surprise for ollie to realize that sylvia, kalahan’s-girlfriend, was the same as sylvia, professor-at-night-raven-college upon arriving, making keeping them out of the greenhouses — even (especially) when she was teaching a class — a complete lost cause. right now they’re skipping magical history: it’s fine, ten minutes with sylvia is more educational than ten hours with trein.

salem’s impassive expression is unwavering as their path is blocked, meeting ness’s sharp grin with a look of indifference. this isn’t the first time they’ve been so unfortunate as to cross paths with ness euenos & it likely won’t be the last. you’d think he’d have something better to do by now. or at least found someone else to harass.
