Phobos eyes flickered opened seeing he was wearing his helmet. He sat up and removed his helmet to then look around. He wasn’t in his room, in his bed, better yet he wasn’t even in a house.
He was sitting in a dirt ground and there seemed to be hallways made of a plant. Corn he believed it was called. He got off the floor and started to pat the dirt of him.
“ Hello?” He heard Sung call out.
Phobos eyes shot wide open knowing now he wasn’t alone here. He started to clap his hands hoping Sung would find him based on that.
“ Phobos! Keep clapping, I think I can find you based on that.” Sung called to him.
Phobos kept clapping until Sung ran into him from behind both falling.
“ Sorry Phobos, I just wanted to find you.” Sung said jumping to his feet and holding a hand out for Phobos to take.
Phobos took the gesture and got to his feet and patted the dirt off him.
“ Where are Meouch and Havve? Where are we?” Phobos asked.
“ Uh, I don’t know where the others are and it looks like we are in a corn maze.” Sung answered.
“ Corn Maze? This is a maze?” Phobos asked.
“ Yeah, and we can’t go over or through, trust me, I may have tried that already.” Sung said rubbing his hand.
“ How do we get out of here?” Phobos asked.
“ That I do not know. But don’t worry, I’ve been marking my way and blocking off dead ends.” Sung said.
“ Is there anything dangerous in this maze?” Phobos asked.
“ I’m not to sure about that either. There wa- there’s a bad feeling within this place, so stay on your toes.” Sung tells him.
Phobos nodded and they started their walk.
“Where am I?” Meouch asked.
“ Who put me in my clothes? Or did I do this?” Meouch asked.
“ Wait? Where are the others?” Meouch jumped to then start running in a direction.
“ Guys?” Meouch shouted into the place.
He could hear movement behind him, but he knows he shouldn’t stop in case it was out to kill him. He turned his head behind him to see a black figure go past him.
He turned his head back to the front just in time to see Havve but not enough time to stop.They collided and fell to the ground.
“ Ow. Havve, you okay?” Meouch asked as he sat up and rubbed his head.
I WILL BE WHEN YOU GET OFF OF ME. Havve said to make Meouch look down at him.
“ Oh shit, sorry about that.” Meouch said as he jumped up.
THAT IS ALRIGHT COMMANDER. WHY WERE YOU RUNNING? Havve asked.
“ Well, I was trying to find you and the guys but I think there was something behind me.” Meouch said to a confused look from Havve.
GUESS WE SHOULD BE CAREFUL. COME ON, I CAN FIND SUNG BY HIS CORE. LET’S HOPE HE HAS FOUND LORD PHOBOS. Havve said as he stood from the ground.
Phobos and Sung froze in their footsteps. A black figure was in front of them with purple flaming eyes. Phobos glanced in Sung’s direction to see he looked horrified.
Phobos gaze turned back to the creature as it growled at them. It took a step towards them, Phobos took a step back but Sung stayed put.
The creature stared at Sung, to then run towards him. Once it was close enough it raised it’s paw like hand and tried to cut Sung.
Sung was able to use his hands to take the blow, instead on his chest, but was thrown back and into Phobos.
Phobos was quick to get back up and check on Sung. He left arm had three cuts, while his right had one loner cut on it. Phobos looked back at the creature to see it back swing it’s paw at Phobos, sending him farther away from Sung.
Winded Phobos was able to look up, from laying on his stomach, and see the creature pin Sung under his paw, looking like he was about to eat his head.
Phobos reached out his hand hoping something would happen.
“ Holy shit! Hang on guys!” Meouch called from behind Phobos.
Havve ran past Phobos and jumped on the creatures back while Meouch ran for his foot.
The creature howled in pain, removing his foot from Sung and running away. Havve jumped off and ran toward Phobos.
ARE YOU OKAY? Havve asked in a concerned tone.
“ Yeah, just winded.” Phobos signed.
Havve helped Phobos up and walk over to Sung and Meouch. Sung looked stunned scaring the others.
“ Doc? Hey, you okay?” Meouch asked.
“ I-I… That was boredom.” Sung breathed out shocking the others.
BOREDOM? BUT THAT WAS A CREATURE. Havve said.
“ No, that was boredom… it was after my core.” Sung said shocking the others again.
“ Well, uh… give me your arms, I’ll bandaged them up. Then we are getting out of here.” Meouch said.
Sung gave Meouch an arm and stayed quiet.
YOU’RE QUIET. THAT’S BAD, BASED ON YOUR NATURE. WHAT’S WRONG? Havve asked.
Sung looked up at Havve, then to the others. With his other hand he was able to remove his helmet. Once it was off tears came running down his cheeks. The three stunned.
“ Sung?” Meouch asked to then grab his other arm.
“ I-I froze up when I saw it,” Sung sobbed out.
“ My last full on encounter with boredom, I-I-I had to leave my home.” Sung stuttered.
“ I thought I was going to lose you guys… I was scared.” Sung said as many more tears fell.
Meouch moved Sung’s arm and was quick to pull Sung into a tight hug, the other two joining in.
“ You won't lose us. That’s for certain.” Meouch muffled into the hug.
They released from the hug seeing a small smile on Sung’s face.
“ Come on, I’ll carry you out. I don't think I ever want to be in a maze again.” Meouch said getting a small chuckle from Sung.
Sung nodded his head, for Meouch to help Sung up and get him on his back like a piggy back ride.
“ Okay Havve, get us out of here.” Meouch stated.
OKAY, THIS WAY. Havve said to then lead the way out of the maze.
Once they got home, Sung had passed out on Meouch, giving Phobos and Meouch some time to talk to Havve.
Meouch set Sung in his room and went back to Havve.
“ Hey Havve? What do you know about boredom?” Meouch asked.
FROM SUNG’S STORIES AND OUR EXPERIENCE, I ONLY SAW IT AS A DISEASE, LIKE A FOG. SEEING IT AS A CREATURE WAS DIFFERENT. Havve told them.
“ Did you know that it could change into a type of creature?” Phobos asked.
I KNOW THAT BOREDOM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE MORE THAN IT SEEMS. I GUESS IT COULD BE ANYTHING AT THIS POINT. Havve said to then hear a ding from his phone.
He pulled his phone out and saw it was a text from Sung.
“ Who’s that?” Meouch asked.
THE DOCTOR. IT SAYS, I WILL EXPLAIN BOREDOM TO YOU GUYS LATER. PROBABLY NOT IN FULL DETAIL, BUT SO YOU GUYS KNOW AND THAT I WON’T LOSE YOU GUYS. Havve read out loud.
“ Tell him that he won’t lose us and thanks for the info AND and that we love him.” Meouch said pointing to Havve’s phone.
Havve smiled and nodded typing on his phone. He hit the send button and all three could hear Sung aw from his room. Another ding from Havve’s the two looked to Havve to see a smile.
Havve turned his phone towards Phobos and Meouch to see a “ Love You Guys Too” in all caps, with a bunch of hearts after it. They all laughed and continued the rest of their day
( I’m going to write a few more of these cause, they are fun! Also I will make and establish a backstory for the characters in my way to explain where I’m coming from.
Also a lot of angst for Sung. I hope and probably write something cheerful for Sung later.
