There is no way to tell time, had they been training for hours? Days? Weeks? In truth it had been months since CC had evolved even yet felt like no time at all.
He loved it, bonding with the yellow mewtwo they had quickly started calling thier Uncle Oconan, or Uncle Coco-nan for a while until they could finally get it right but even the incorrect name was said with endearing love from the young mon.
Now training had taken to much stronger spells to beat. New techniques to keep CC on his toes and gain strength in body and mind, especially his dodging and resists were important against much stronger opponents.
Oconan was careful not to go too far, pushing the boundaries harder and harder but never enough to break the charmeleon. There were unanswered things he could glimpse beyond just the void and mons he was bonding with. These answers stayed just out of reach but the dots to connect felt all there between training times…
Millie watched, not always quietly sometimes she cheered them on and other times would rummage the open portals Meg left to bring back food and snacks to eat.
But while all the bonding and supporting in the world was nice for a while, the smallest of the Pokémon looked up to her brother and uncle and gathered up the courage to step away from the sidelines during a pause…
