so I gave some poetry a try, in the spirit of escapril. I won't be doing every day, but still felt like sharing this one.
another poem from me, finally!! this is sort of for @two-bees-poetry and their escapril series, more specifically it's a combination of today/tomorrow's prompt (i'm australian, it's the ninth in my timezone!) 'rate from 1-10,'—because i used the same structure as their 'kassandra rates her discomfort on a scale from 1-10'—and also day 16's 'katabasis', because orpheus.
i think a lot about orpheus and eurydice, and this is far from encompassing all my thoughts on the matter. it's fun though!
a lil poem i wrote while procrastinating my schoolwork
escapril day 6: apokatastasis
what do you do when you're taught that god would hate even the littlest part of you?
[apokatastasis refers to the restoration of all of creation to a state of perfection, even the damned]

I thought I would give escapril a shot this year, using two-bees-poetry's prompt list. I will NOT be able to put something out every day, but I'm looking forward to having an excuse to get back into practice with poetry!
just realized I put march instead of april, nevermind
