#two ideas

... and to be annoyingly still incomplete, but that comes from not being wholly prepared and not quite having the time that I had hoped to have (plus getting my deadlines all mixed up. Actually thought it was next week @inklings-challenge. Lol, oops). So, here are two incomplete first chapters to the stories I hope to have finally done soon ... one of these days. 

The Empress of the Lamps: Myrrh’s Bitter Touch  Chapter 1 - An Important Assignment (chapter title liable to change)  This is going to be a trilogy about three men who must find the last three lamps out of a group of ten before the villain does and rewrites the whole world.  Inspired heavily by The Five Wise Maidens, The Three Wise Men, Aladdin, Mulan, and Lord of the Rings. 

1001 Nights Trilogy: 1001 Nights of Red  Chapter 1 - I’m Blue This is also going to be a trilogy (duh) about two genies who find out exactly what love really is all about, and freedom, while the genies are split into two warring factions to see who will decide the fate of the universe. Mercy, forgiveness, and the freedom to choose between the king of the genies and a rebel are all major factors in this series as the turmoil and pain of war wreak havoc on the world of mortals, and the existence of genies.

Earthquake in the Doctor’s Office

On a dreadful afternoon, I drove myself to the doctor’s office, feeling tired and reluctant to go. I had gotten a call from the receptionist two days prior, reminding me that I had an appointment scheduled.
