they actually beam at him. sure, the plane has bite marks on it, and sure, it might also be stolen, but it’s not like twitch could help either of that. it was the thoughtful gesture that mattered. they just hoped it wasn’t cursed or anything. they grin back at the timberhound as they bend down to pick it up, elbows on their knees and eyes glinting as they turn it this way and that, taking in every detail. it was perfect.
