“Hey! I know you’re there, show yourself!” It’s surprising the person snuck up on her, but the signature is…strange. Weak. Originally, she’d guess it’s a civilian but it has a distinct shinobi quality. Untrained then, probably a dying clan taken in by a civilian settlement a few generations ago.
The person doesn’t move and Madara can’t sense anyone else so she throws her kunai and puffs up in pride as it sinks down to the handle in the tree bark. Perfect aim.
A girl shrieks and falls to the ground. She scrambles away from her hiding space on her hands and knees, eyes wide with fear, glancing between Madara and the kunai. Madara half expects the girl to stand, grab the hem of her kimono, and start running.
Instead, she finally settles on looking at Madara and exclaims, “You could have hit me! What's wrong with you?”
“I would not have! My aim’s too good!” Madara yells back. Mother always compliments her on her throwing skills. No way she’d ever miss.
