An older artwork piece I made a while ago. He was mainly inspired by Dust from a game called Dust: an Elysian Tail. (please go play the game. It’s GOOD!) This is Harúl, a fox who has given up hope of peace between humans and anthros. He purely fights against humans to protect his own kind.
Here’s a story to go with this piece.
A world where both humans and anthros live together in peace and harmony…….maybe in any other world, but that doesn’t exist here. Humanity feared anthros for being more supreme than they are due to anthros having more capabilities than humanity can ever have. They enforced slavery and marked the animals as the enemy. And drove them all away from their native territory. Since then, humans were able to move on and advance to the more luxurious live. All the technology, all the power, and not a single animal was able to receive any of it. They still lived outside of the cities in their primitive ways, and any animal who resides in the cities are nothing but slaves that are slowly being killed by the humans’ abuse towards them. The outsiders holds a grudge against them that leads to countless wars. Deep within the human territory resides a secret human group that formed an alliance with the anthros to help them fight to win equality. The humans won’t care if they must kill their own, seeing animals abused left and right made them grow a hateful bond between each other. This alliance turned the tide suddenly and it seemed that victory for anthros was now more possible than before……until it only made the powerful people more angry. Now both humans and anthros are at a war that seems to never end. But it only takes one man….to change the course of history forever.
