My June 2016 Patreon Review is finally here!
I am sorry for how extremely delayed this is! The past couple months have been very rough. June ended with a friend passing away, and started with my job scheduling me many days in a row for long hours, then I transitioned right into doing cons again.
Also, as you can see, the formats of these reviews have changed a few times. I am trying to experiment with what works best. Here, I am using tiny crops of some Patreon content, that way, only paying Patrons are seeing the full, exclusive, Patreon-exclusive posts, but these small, cropped thumbnails give others who may be considering supporting my Patreon a chance to see what is going on with my Patreon to help support their decision, as well as newcomers.
So, through June, we mainly had some SFW and NSFW WIPs! Both fanart and original. There is not much more to go into detail here: a lot of stuff has been going on both physically and emotionally in my life, and it's just been one giant rollercoaster hill after another lately, so I am doing my best to hang on -and it means that a lot of times, for my own good, I have been having to prioritize my mental and physical health, which, in combination with my other job, has made it difficult to find time to do art that isn't for my "day job," and art at my day job is art I am contractually bound to not post/show/send anywhere online.
However, I have been going back to therapy, though getting on a regular schedule is hard, and I have been starting to get more physical activity (besides being on my feet all day at work. Aka, I've been playing Pokemon GO and swimming,) and also starting to meditate again, all as ways to try to improve my health, in hopes this will help my art production again.
Now, for those who haven't been following my Patreon reviews, I also do a quick section of upcoming goals and a short possible future summary at the end. So, here goes!
This month, (what little is left of it,) and the rest of the summer, I have conventions coming up, as well as new charms! You can see my convention list here, and my shop here. I am also going to try to start working a large original art project that is currently a secret to all but my girlfriend and I. Once I am able to do more research and start on thumbnails, I will talk more about the project and my plans for it.
I am going to continue working on my health, especially with my mental illness problems, to try to get my art production at least close to how high it was last year, and find a job that is even more relevant to my field than the other job I have now. I am also going to work on growing this Patreon more, and I still urge everyone who is subscribing to send requests via the "Patrons" tab on my page!
