“Come on, Ricky! You’ll have a good time, I promise you!”
Those were the words that had persuaded the brunette out on this little night time adventure, though it was something he needed after a long week of work. Having friends so kind and generous was good for the bellhop, because he so often got caught up with the same thing that he forgot to do something new. Which is why his dear friends insisted upon him joining them to some karaoke bar that was all the rage as of late. He wasn’t the best singer around, but if it meant watching his friends and maybe unwinding with a few drinks, then he’d participate.
So here he was, sitting in a booth with a nearly finished cup of beer and a smile on his face while a pair of his buddies sang as loudly as possible to Bruno Mars. Yes, this was definitely the best way to get his mind off work. “Hey, you guys go ahead and continue, I’ll grab us another pitcher and maybe some snacks.” Ricky announced, getting up and adjusting his shirt before draining the last of his drink and walking off with the empty pitcher towards the bar. “Hey, uhm... Can we have another one of these please? Oh, and an order of the garlic fries and some hot wings.” He requested, handing over his card to pay and gathering it up again once they were done with it.
Now he waited. So he leaned back against the bar and looked over the rest of the building with a small smile, admiring the decor, the many faces all scattered about and enjoying themselves, and the overall good mood that he was in. Nothing could spoil tonight... Heck, it could maybe even be getting better from this point forward. Who knew, right?
