Oof, there's way too many to count
I have this habit of writing notes of my ideas, and then never following through, especially if it requires more effort to plot out than what i'm able to give, for lack of skill or time.
I guess, among the many not-even-wips-yet that I have and don't know if I'll ever write, the ones that I care most about are:
Chengxian inuyasha!au where jc gets lost in the woods and ends up back in time, where he meets a sealed yllz. The fic equivalent of the shikon no tama would be the yin tiger seal, and obviously jc would be the reincarnation of sandu shengshou;
Chengxian modern!au where wwx is in a coma because of an accident that also killed jyl and jzx, so jc has to raise jl alone until wwx wakes up. This one is funny to me because i originally wrote 17k of it but for another pairing, and shuangjie were platonic, but then after realizing that i wrote the shuangjie part with much more romantic tension than the other part I decided to scrap it and start over. And i still haven't started over.
Now that I've talked about them, I would really like to begin writing them, but now it's a bit of a weird time so I don't know when I'll be able to get to it, if ever.

I feel like back in the days of ff(.)net, concrit was kind of expected. I made two of my best and longest term friends by sharing concrit on some fanfic. I get that writers might not want concrit though. Maybe a middle ground? Maybe Ao3 could do like a read-more link for comments so authors could choose whether they want to read the concrit? Or maybe works can just be tagged as concrit allowed?
I think part of the difference is in the wording: review versus comment. Giving a review sort of implies talking about both the good and the bad. At least, thatâs what we expect from book/film/art/album/game etc. reviews. Comment doesnât have that same connotation to it.Â
I could be wrong. I often am.Â
As for the rest of your ask, I fully support the idea of authorâs leaving an end note saying âconcritâ welcome or âplease let me know if you spot any typosâ or whatever else theyâre looking for. A lot of people donât comment because they donât know what they can or canât say to an author. Giving readers that guidance could only be a good thing.Â

what places are you considering for a move? I got Seattle, Portland, Austin, and Santiago- Chile on my list. Oddly enough, also considering Detroit for how cheap it is to live there.
Well, the FIRST place my boyfriend and I have to go is Maryland, but after that we can either go to San Antonio (low cost of living and a BEAUTIFUL city), Georgia, or stay in DC.
AFTER THAT we can probably go anywhere - so Iâm thinking either Belgium, Austria, or Ireland for Europe, Japan or Thailand for Asia, or Morocco!

The problem with being an evil and caring for anything is that your enemies use it against you just like they would the heroes. Also, many villians oy become so because of great loss... like families being murdered.
Okay, but seeing the heroes do that--people who are supposedly above tactics like that--would make for an interesting story, IMO.Â
Like, how conflicted are the heroes over such dirty tricks? Do they get punished for it? Do they feel bad about it?
