(I got a similar ask from @twilight-owl so consider this my answer to both asks)

for minimegs, i’d choose I Will by Mitski. Its tone is so loving and devoted, but there’s an edge of desperation that really makes me think of minimegs. (there’s also Being Alive from the Company and So This Is Love from Cinderella and Burn from Hamilton and- okay i’ll just put the playlist link here)

@twilight-owl and I had a blast posing these guys. I just got Maketoys’ Himed aka First Aid yesterday, so I hauled him down to show Owls and then we absolutely had to pose him with her Mastermide Creations Tyrantron aka Autobot Megatron.

Narrative-wise for the pics, First Aid is, uh, pretty drunk? And Megatron is just kind of. dealing with it. Some glomping, some piggy back rides and some disco fever with surprise splits.

@twilight-owl and her husband let me hang out at their place for awhile while they cleaned. It really helped. I felt a lot less anxious. We chatted about things and Owls set me up play more of Transformers Devestation. I’m so terrible at it, but it’s fun. I wish I’d gotten a copy on steam before has to cut the digital licensing, but I guess there’s always getting a ps3 at some point.

I ended up talking about the tf marvel comic for a bit- I’ve got a warrior school post in my drafts and I talked about that a bit (it’s the right of oneness bit) and I think that springboarded into the Megatron/Ratchet fusion, a brief mention of Optimus committing suicide over a video game, and some stuff about the matrix quest. And pretenders. Specifically Longtooth and that frigging whale. That spawned the best damn thing anyone’s said to me today:

“I welcomed you into my home, sat you on my couch; fed you pizza and let you play video games, and this is how you repay me? You give me nightmare fuel and walrus?”
