When I think of Jessi’s blog I just think of happiness and sunshine and messy, colourful brushstrokes. She’s one of those people that you are instantly friends with. She just welcomes you to her blog with open arms. And she’s such a talented artist, and so hilarious. Just a joy.

Cathy and I go way back. Way, way back. Gosh... it’s such a long way. I’ve enjoyed her blog from the moment I laid eyes upon it, six-ish years ago. Hello, there! Our first interaction was over an ice cream ask, do you remember? I was already following you - I wish I could remember the exact moment I hit the button! I loved your mobile theme, because obviously, The Hug! And your icon is still one of my favourites on my dash. But anyway, back to the ice cream asks - you followed me (I was shook) and asked me music-related ones from the list, so of course I assumed that you liked music! You just seemed really friendly! And then you starting making posts about starting teaching and I tried to support you and send messages of encouragement and I hope they worked! But yes, my first interaction with you is what I remember most. So friendly!

4: how do you take your coffee/tea?

I like both but prefer coffee, and I like it milky and sweet. I really love a vanilla latte, with a white chocolate biscuit of some sort on the side.

Goodness, I don’t know… I’m a bit tired, I’m hungry, and I need a shower to get this paint out of my hair (I was painting today) - what’s a good band for that? Later on it will be Sleeping at Last. (Geddit?)
