I appreciate that, nonnie. I hate being so far away from her while she's sick. My hubby was close to just putting me on a plane because he knew I wanted to be there.

Long story short, she had a very bad case of pneumonia (blood clot on her lung included) and she may have a long road ahead to regain full energy. My dad sounded like he was on the verge of tears when I spoke with him yesterday and he isn't a man who gets emotional often. My mom is also one of my best friends, so it has just been a lot.

If things keep looking up, she should hopefully be out of the hospital on Tuesday. Praying that she can go home and keep recovering and I may still fly out to see her.

Teleportation really would come in handy.
