#tw:zombies

okay so we (me and two friends i shall refer to as bananas and livi) got to the park (six flags) sometime in the afternoon and went to go eat lunch first before we did anything else. we happened to eat lunch right next to one of the haunted houses, which was like a zombie maze or something like that, and i'm really glad we didn't go in it because i'm terrified of zombies even though i watch twd lmao. but anyways it was v entertaining because we'd see the zombies shuffle out sometimes to go to the restroom building behind the restaurant, or the best thing was this one zombie who was walking away with a soda and a tray with a burger and fries on it to go find a place to sit down and eat lunch too.

we went on this little kiddie ride called balloon bounce but the best thing about it was that it was being run by two high schoolers i'm pretty sure?? and one of them was wearing these flowery pink sunglasses that were way too small for him, and bananas told him "i like your sunglasses" and he turned to the other guy like "see, jeremiah? the females dig it" and they started arguing over the validity of his sunglasses and how pimpin' he was, and finally jeremiah was just like "WHO YOU PIMPIN', SIX YEAR OLDS?? THAT'S ILLEGAL" and we started laughing omfg

and we were super dizzy coming off the ride too because we spun our balloon too fast pft

the actual spoops started at 7:00 and we'd bought these tickets to go to a haunted house so we were making our way through the park but the actors were out in full force to spoop people and everybody was screaming and running away- BUT we figured out that if u just walked with confidence and didn't scream or run or try to dodge them they'd pretty much leave u alone. i felt like rick and glenn in the first season walking thru the herd covered in walker guts. so powerful

we crossed this one bridge that was a specific spoop zone and it wasn't too bad but livi wasn't looking and had her ears plugged so i held her arm and was walking with her across the bridge and thIS MASSIVE GUY WITH A ROCK FACE AND LITTLE PIRANHA TEETH APPEARS OUT OF THE FOG RIGHT IN FRONT OF US AND JUST LOOMS AND HE'S EASILY A FOOT TALLER THAN ME SO I JUST STOP AND LOOK UP AT HIM AND LIVI DOESN'T SEE HIM SINCE SHE'S LOOKING AWAY?? so naturally rather than screaming or just saying "hey livi there's a person right in front of us" what do i do??

i just start going "spoopy spoopy spoopy spoopy spoopy spoopy spoopy" until she finally realizes i'm not talking about anybody behind us but rather something in front of us and she looks over and sees his shoes and SCREAMS

and we got spooped in the line to get into the haunted house by these other two girls who just screamed right behind us and i jumped and went JESUS and they started laughing and it was funny i hope they had a good night

the haunted house we picked was cadaver hill asylum ("the doctor is in... sane, criminally"). we figured that would be the best one for all of us vs. the zombie maze, the clown circus (which livi went to when she was six and still remembers in vivid detail), and piggy's blood shed. we'd figure it'd just be like outlast and we've all seen it before so it wouldn't be that bad pft

WE WERE WRONG IT WAS AWFUL

SO MANY SPOOPS

THEY RAN AWAY AT ONE POINT AND ALMOST LEFT ME BEHIND

there was this one hallway though that had these flashing strobe lights and like a body in a washing machine or a fan or something and it messed with all of us so we had to step outside for a moment and then go back in because bruh those lights were bad

but at one point they were both too scared to go through the last thing but we had to go through it because there were more spoops coming in behind us and pressuring us to go through but they didn't want to go through?? so i just fckin pushed the curtains aside and went through singing "AND IIIIIIIIIIIIIII WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOOOOOOUUUUUU" because apparently i deal with fear by singing. and the exit was this fckin tunnel that had the spinny lights and i almost fckin fell over because it made me feel like i was falling gdi

we got ice cream after that.

we went to all the spoop zones and bananas asked all the spoops if they would take her to prom (none of them responded. so sad)

the best spoop was this zombie that came out of nowhere and was right in front of me and i stopped and he kept coming and then i hear him say "excuse me" so i said "oh sorry" and stepped out of the way and he went right past me. i laughed so much after that zombies have better manners than people sometimes

and some noises the spoops made were hilarious?? one of them made a really loud snorting sound that cracked us up and one legitimately barked at us and there were some that were breathing on our necks?? and i just never turned around to look at them pft

and my fucking mother looked at this one spoop who got right in her face and said "i'm pre-menopausal" and the sPOOP WALKED AWAY V QUICKLY
