1/2 way to 1/2 marathon
Shit is getting real!!! On my 7th week of training and every week Iām like WTF!! I look at the training block and doubt everything and then I get to Saturday mornings (my long run days) and I rock that shit so hard. Just did 7.5 miles this last weekend and it was easily one of my best runs so far.
I spend most of the time just daydreaming and letting plot bunnies carry me through the milesā makes it go by faster š
Did 5.5 today, then I have 5.5 on Thursday and Saturday will be 8.5 miles. And somehow I will have ran 19.5 miles this week š¤Æ
This is my reminder that I can do hard things!!
1/2 marathon update under the cut
Officially signed up!!!! Like so fucking scary but Iāve committed to it now. Started my training yesterday and finished my first runā felt really good! Iām super stoked to see how things progress and look forward to seeing what I am capable of running.
Told my husband when he got home how much what he said hurt my feelings and he apologizedā said he knew as soon as he said it that it didnāt land like he intended it too. He was more so worried that I would have enough time to train myself, not that I couldnāt do it. I also told him that while I was pissed, it lit a fire under my ass to prove I could and he laughed, then gave me a kiss and apologized again.
Not that anyone cares but Iām excited for this. Terrified but excited.
