Putt putt trolls head cannons pt.2 !!!!

The night of the great escape was taking place as usual.

King Peppy was leading the trolls through the escape tunnels while viva was running in the back to make sure no one got left behind while she carried poppy.

While viva is running, the Bergens start to dig, separating the tunnels and slowly breaking them apart.

Clay is running past and viva hands poppy to Clay and tells him to run while she makes sure no one is left behind.

During the chaos Clay gets turned around while trying to avoid the Bergens. He tries leading anyone he sees out of the tunnels as best he can while still holding poppy.

Eventually they escape, but not with everyone else.

Viva and the rest of the pop trolls along with king peppy make it out but poppy and the troll viva handed her to (Clay) along with a few others are nowhere to be found.

Viva and the king are devastated.

They spend the first few months of rebuilding the village grieving the loss of poppy but continue on regardless as they have a kingdom to run and trolls to look after.

Viva takes care of the baby trolls (how poppy does in the 1 and 2 movie) and king peppy remains the king.

20 years pass and Clay has been raising poppy and teaching her all the things he can to the best of his ability. As she gets older, Clay tells her all the stories he knew about her family. About viva, about the king, and about how they loved her and would’ve been proud to see her grow up. Clay also talks about his brothers as raising poppy has made him miss them.

Poppy is made queen of the putt putt trolls when Clay thinks she’s old enough.

She makes sure they’re all tended to, everyone stays safe, and everyone has what they need. If there’s a problem, she can fix it.

- (ignore what I said in the other timeline and let’s go with the hypothetical that the events of the first movie happened)

In pop village, they’re getting ready for the 20 year anniversary. Viva and Peppy are planning a huge event to celebrate. They still haven’t forgotten poppy and have a memorial ready for her for the event. To keep spirits high, viva makes sure this will be the BIGGEST event ever.

She makes preparations and the party goes as expected. The memorial is mentioned during the morning, they prepare all afternoon, the part starts at night, and chef finds them.

Viva tells everyone to run and hides along with king peppy. A few trolls get taken and she goes to find the one trolls she knows can help.

She finds branch and through some convincing, he agrees to help.

They travel and along the way together for a while and eventually get talking. Branch asks viva why she’d throw a party if she’s one of the few trolls that knows better than anyone how terrible Bergens can be and the dangers of one. Viva goes on to tell him that she must keep the kingdom happy and that she wants poppy to be remembered in a positive light and not as something that brings sadness and despair. Branch ponders on this but stays quiet on it.

The two get into Bergen town and into the castle where they find the others. Eventually they break the others out but Bridget spots them and tries to stop them.

Viva fights her off alongside branch while the others run but they notice she doesn’t really fight back. Bridget cries about how upset chef will be and how things suck for her and viva feels sympathetic towards her. Viva walks closer to where Bridget is crying on the floor and viva places a hand on her knee. Viva tells Bridget that she can’t allow others to walk all over her and Bridget tells her she’s just a dumb scullery maid who will never find true happiness. Viva asks what Bridget likes to do when she’s not busy, knowing that if Bridget has a hobby then there’s no way true happiness isn’t that far behind. Bridget would tell her that she likes looking at magazines and thinking about the king but tells viva not to tell anyone. Viva gets an idea to help Bridget go on a date with the king and Bridget tells her it’s impossible and that she’ll get in trouble. Viva tells Bridget that they can make a disguise for her and Bridget agrees.

They dress Bridget up and take her out of the castle.

Bridget sees the king buying things and getting ready for Trollstice and panics thinking that it was a bad idea. Viva hypes her up and they walk in.

Viva helps her flirt with the king and they score a date.

Bridget and the king go on a date and viva keeps the complements coming with ease. The king seems slightly unimpressed and branch steps in to help. Bridget tells the king that true happiness is possible. The rest of the date goes smoothly and when chef comes along she leaves.

The trolls say they gotta go and Bridget gets upset. They make a plan to have an outfit made for her and have her go on another date. She agrees and they execute their plan a few hours before Trollstice tomorrow.

During this chef is cutting down the trees and tearing apart the area she spotted the trolls. She finds them underground and uses a vacuum to suck them out.

Bridget goes on a date with the king and shows him that trolls have been helping her look better. She tells him that they don’t need to eat the trolls and that they’re happy without them. He’s hesitant at first but realizes she’s right and agrees.

During Trollstice everyone is wondering where the king and his plus one are and chef can’t find Bridget anywhere. Chef has all the other trolls locked in the pot right now and is just waiting for the king.

The king comes bursting in late. Chef does her whole manipulation tactic with Gristle that she did in the first movie about Bridget not showing up and Gristle (the king) calls her in.

Gristle meets her half way and they hold hands. Bridget reveals Viva and the others and chef and the other Bergens seem confused. Bridget and Gristle talk about how they’ve never eaten troll before and how they feel happy regardless “my belly empty and my heart full” and Chef freaks out. She snatches Branch and tries to feed him to Gristle. Viva pulls him away to save him and gives a whole speech on how she knows all Bergens can be happy. The Bergens realizes this, the musical number happens, chef gets locked up, and now that peace is established between Bergens and Trolls Viva is made queen.

- DURING TWT!!! (Trolls World Tour)

Poppy and Clay are still co-leading the putt putt trolls.

They let in any other trolls to join them.

They’re left oblivious to the events of TWT (Trolls World Tour)

Poppy stresses out and wants to be a good leader the way Clay explained her father and her sister were and she wants to make Clay proud because she looks up to him.

Poppy try’s helping wherever she can to prove she’s worthy of her position as leader.

Clay sees this and backs her up whenever she makes a mistake on accident or she’s being a bit irrational due to her stress

She unintentionally shrugs him off and wants to be super independent whenever she can to prove herself.

Viva is in pop village when all of a sudden a weird bat looking creature comes flying in with an invitation. She swipes the thing up with her hair and holds the bat in one hand and reads the letter with the other.

She tells everyone to calm down as it’s just an invitation.

She leaves and heads over to her father in private to discuss whether or not it could be dangerous.

Peppy informs her that Barb could be trying to take over the their music. He shows Viva the string and she realizes she has a job to do.

She sends the others off into hiding and leaves her father in charge on the string.

She packs up and leaves to go and meet this “Barb, Queen of Rock.”

Branch sees her leaving and gets paranoid. At this point, he sees her as his best friend/sister like figure. He asks if he can come with just in case she needs backup. He knows she can defend herself but he can’t help it. She agrees and they both travel to find Barb.

They both hop into the hot air balloon and leave. Branch gets to keep his weapons, viva keeps her guard up, there’s no biggie this time around, branch reads the flight manual, and they make it to symphony Ville safely.

At symphony ville viva and branch are shocked to see it in ruins. They hear a voice and get ready for a potential threat. They meet penny whistle and they inform branch and poppy of what Barb and the others did. Viva’s suspicions along with king Peppy’s were proven true.

Branch tells Viva that they need to head back now to make sure the string is safe along with the others. Viva tells him no and that they need to stop Barb so she doesn’t hurt anyone else. She remembers how the Bergens took her sister away from her and not wanting anyone to feel a similar loss, she decides to help. Branch agrees with her for now, still feeling cautious. They leave symphony ville and head off to lonesome flats.

When they get there, Viva and Branch hear a different genera for the first time. Branch seems to like it and viva agrees. They both agree to try a peaceful approach and walk up to delta dawn when the song is over. They inform her about Barb and she says she already knows and doesn’t care. She goes back to singing and viva and branch are stumped on what to do. They can’t help someone who doesn’t want it and she already knows what coming and doesn’t care, so what now? Viva and branch and both sitting down when hickory approaches them and asks if they’re new around the area. Branch is on edge and viva tells him that they’re just passing through.

Hickory tells them that he heard them talking to delta and tells them he wants to join them to help. Branch seems against it but viva tells him they’re going to need all the help they can get. They leave lonesome flats and start heading off to find the funk trolls. Hickory tells them he knows their path and builds a raft to get there. Branch gets annoyed and viva seems to calm down.

They travel along the river and run into Chaz. Viva sees Hickory plug his ears when Chaz starts playing and she does the same, she was about to tell branch to do the same but he’s already in a trance. Viva gets worried for him and heads over to him and Hickory just stands there for a bit doing nothing. Viva gets suspicious of Hickory but decides to beat up Chaz first and ask questions later. She fights him off and then hickory joins in and Chaz gets thrown in the water.

Viva helps branch up and snaps her fingers to wake him up faster. Once branch seems awake enough she lets him stay sitting and interrogates hickory. She asks how he knew to block out his ears and why he didn’t help sooner. Hickory says he was making up a plan on what to do and also says that he had a gut feeling to plug his ears. Viva lets this slide but hickory is on thin ice and branch trusts him even less now.

They travel a while and eventually make it to where the funk trolls are supposed to be but don’t see a thing. Viva and Branch get mad and tell hickory that he’s just trying to keep them away. They’re getting more and more annoyed when all of a sudden hickory and branch get picked up by bubbles. Viva freaks out and calls out to branch as he’s being lifted into the sky. A bubble grabs viva last and she freaks out. She’s trying to pop the bubble by moving around but the bubble pops on its own on the inside of the funk ship. Viva realizes where she is and gets embarrassed. She sees branch and runs up to him, hugging him. A voice speaks to them and viva sees what she thinks is cooper. She asks what he’s doing there and cooper calls out to her and explains he has a twin brother and he comes from funk.

Viva meets the king and queen, she warns them about Barb, they offer to help out, she agrees, they explain that Barb is trying to do what the pop trolls did in the past.

Barb ambushes them, viva, branch, and hickory are about to help fight but Barb cuts their power.

Cooper opens an escape hatch for the others and gets them to leave so they can help later. Viva and branch listen and hickory follows.

Viva and Branch use their hair as a parachute and hickory grabs onto both of them. The landing is a bit rough but they’re back in the ground.

Viva feels like a failure as she wants to help but seems to be useless every place they go. Branch tells her she’s not useless and that they’re all just trying their best to figure this all out. Viva tells branch they’d both probably be better at pop village where they’d be of actual use and branch tells her it’s her decision, but whichever one she makes he will be right there beside her.

Viva still wants to stop Barb. Branch agrees to stay and help and Hickory seems quiet. Viva asks what’s wrong with him, he says it’s nothing, viva asks again, he says he’s fine, branch says he’s being weird, hickory says it’s nothing, hickory seems to be getting annoyed, viva calls him out, hickory starts talking.

He asks where their pop string is, viva tells him it’s hidden somewhere safe, branch wants to know why he’s asking, hickory says that if viva is having doubts she should head back and make sure it’s actually safe (playing into her insecurity), branch says that it’s safe and that viva knows what she’s doing, viva once again seems unsure of herself. Branch reassures her that she’s doing her best to help and if she wants to go back they can. Viva asks for Branch’s input, he says that he sort of wants to go back but doesn’t trust hickory, viva agrees but also still wants to stop Barb too. She tells branch she needs to think it over alone and needs space, which he gives her.

Viva walks off and sits alone thinking for a bit, playing out scenarios in her head. She’s thinking alone when she pulls some bracelet strings from out of her hair and starts braiding them to better think. She hears footsteps around her and giggles coming from nearby. She drops the bracelet she was just braiding, still holding onto a pink string when all of a sudden she gets pulled to the ground by some hair. She hears branch yell in the distance along with some yodeling but cant help him. she gets tried up by the k-pop gang. they ask if shes Viva and she lies and tells them no. The reggaeton trolls come out of hiding and the two fight over who should take her in to barb.

they have a dance off and viva is forced to join in. during the dances she tries to escape but gets dragged back in. when the reggaeton trolls are done they tie her up again and managed to steal the string she was still holding in her hands. the k-pop trolls see this and try and take it from them. viva realizes that the other trolls think that the bracelet string is the pop string. she fake freaks out over them stealing the "string". The reggaeton trolls run off with the string and the k-pop trolls pick up viva, annoyed. The k-pop trolls roll their eyes at each other and say they’re just going to have to split the find.

Viva tells for all of them to wait just a second and tells them that if they all work together they can go up against Barb and keep all their music. The trolls pause a moment. Having the string and the queen of pop guarantees their safety, but it would be nice to be able to free roam instead of being stuck on an island. They all agree and release viva. Viva takes the “string” just to keep the lie going, just in case. She wraps it around her wrist and comes up with a plan. But first, then need to find branch.

Viva tells the others to help her find branch so they can all find Barb together.

They find branch tied up with hickory and dickory. Viva is shocked and asks what’s going on. Hickory explains that they can let him go if she just hands over the pop string. The other bounty hunters seem uneasy as the yodelers are said to be the best bounty hunters. They have a stand off with yodelers.

After a tussle viva and the others get branch but dickory steals “the pop string” and runs off with hickory.

The k-pop trolls seem worried but viva tells them it’s okay.

They make their plan to crash barb’s party.

They infiltrate the rock concert and finally, viva meets Barb.

Barb places the “pop string” into her guitar to play the ultimate power cord. The string turns red and she gets ready to preform.

Viva and the others are up above the stage when she’s preforming, planning a way to get her to stop trying to convert other trolls.

Barb gets the guitar and starts playing. She tries hitting one of the leaders with it but nothing happens. She looks down at the guitar confused. Viva seems amused and everyone is also confused. Viva and branch finally tell them that it was a fake string.

Barb gets annoyed yells, asking where queen viva is. Viva reveals herself from up above and lowers herself down while holding a rope.

She tells Barb she can’t let her destroy all music.

Barb yells her and tells her to tell her where the string and the pop trolls are hiding. Viva says she’ll never do that.

She tries to reason with Barb but to no avail. Viva tells the other leaders to get their tribes and get out of there. Viva and Barb fight over the strings while the concert crowd turns into chaos with trolls trying to leave and rock trolls trying to stop them.

In the chaos the bounty hunters try and get the crowd to be more orderly and viva and Barb keep fighting over the strings. The leaders can’t leave with ought their strings so they join in the chaos and the strings break.

Everyone looses their color and the chaos stops. Everything is colorless and silent. The tribe leaders look down at the broken strings. The blame game starts. During the argument between the leaders a slight beating can be heard.

Cooper and his brother start making music and slowly everyone realizes that the music was inside them all along.

Poppy, Clay, and the putt but trolls all have a panic attack for about 10 minutes wondering why they all just went gray out of nowhere

Clay trying to figure out a logical explanation and some sort of solution while poppy tries to calm everyone down.

Out of nowhere a big ass rainbow shoots over hole n fun and everyone returns back to normal.

Poppy is stressed out and Clay is confused out of his mind.

All the putt putt trolls pause before resuming back to normal as if nothing just happened.

- 3rd movie!!!!

Floyd gets snatched up while he was out minding his business by velvet and veneer

After a month or so of being trapped velvet sends out a letter for BroZone

JD (John Dory) goes to find Floyd before going to find the others.

After a while of searching he manages to find branch and viva with the Bergens and tells them about Floyd.

Branch is hesitant and viva encourages him to leave to go see them again because she would kill for the chance to see poppy again. Branch says he’ll go but only if viva comes with him because he doesn’t want to go alone. Viva pauses a sec but agrees and tells her dad to watch after the village

(For the scene where jd picks up branch viva tells him to put down her friend immediately and tell them who he is what what he wants or something along the lines of that bc she knows he’s uncomfortable with that stuff)

(No tiny Dimond)

They travel, branch makes a clue board, viva looks at the clue bored which reminds her of when she was younger and listened to BroZone with baby poppy. They keep inspecting to find clues, JD shows off branch’s baby pics, viva loves them, JD shows off the card, they keep traveling, they find the island, the meet Bruce.

Bruce shows off his tall wife and kids, they sing together, viva encourages branch every step of the way.

They leave off to go find Clay so they can hit the perfect family harmony.

Poppy and Clay were having a normal day in their tribe.

Clay was managing the trap formations and attack systems

Poppy was making sure everyone had what they needed and that everything was fine

The putt putt trolls were doing their normal activities and working

Later that day poppy and Clay were hanging out. Poppy was scrapbooking on the floor and Clay was reading a book

All of a sudden a scout comes to them and informs them that a vehicle is approaching them.

Poppy gets ready and Clay leaves to go inform the other putt putt trolls to get ready.

They turn off the lights and poppy goes inside the clown.

Viva and the others arrive at hole n fun thanks to Rhonda and look around when all of a sudden they hear a deep voice coming from the clown.

Branch says they’re just looking for his brother

Poppy rolls down the ramp and greets them all

She introduces herself but before she can properly greet viva she pauses.

Both her and viva are stunned and stare at each other wondering if their eyes are playing tricks on them or not. “Is it really you?” They say in unison

Clay comes out from over the hill and sees viva and the rest of his brothers

He yells out Viva’s name to see if it’s really her and when she turns her head slightly to respond poppy practically tackles her with joy and it clicks for viva that her suspicions were correct and this was indeed her long lost little sister.

Clay greets his brothers and everyone gets to enjoy their reunion

Viva and poppy spend the rest of the night catching up on lost time and poppy explains everything through scrapbook pictures and run on sentences.

How Clay told her all about her and their dad

How she’s a princess

How they were separated

How they found hole n fun

She even explains how Clay told her all about his brothers

Viva tells her that it’s safe and Bergens don’t attack anymore and when they’re done with the rescue mission she’ll help poppy move everyone back to pop village

Poppy seems thrilled and Viva is over the moon that her sister has been taken care of and safe all these years

Clay and the others are getting ready to leave as fast as possible, branch says he’ll go get viva, Clay stops him telling him that viva is going to come in a bit but they have to leave now because he knows poppy will want to tag along.

Branch seems confused and Clay tells him that she’s not ready for an adventure like this yet and she can stay behind to look after hole n fun

Viva and poppy are talking and viva sees poppy packing a small bag.

Viva asks what she’s doing and poppy tells her that she’s getting prepared to come with her and the others.

Viva tells her that she’s not coming along because it’s not safe out there. Poppy seems confused and points out that viva told her that the Bergens are nice now

Viva tells her that she’s not ready yet and poppy practically rolls her eyes and tells her that she is ready and that she sounds like Clay right now.

After a small argument viva leaves poppy’s home and runs off to join the others. Poppy follows her and they meet up with the others. Poppy was about to join them in Rhonda but Clay stops her and tells her she’s not ready yet and she needs to stay behind and watch over the putt putt trolls

Poppy tells him she’s not a little kid anymore and she’s a leader now but Clay pulls the “I’m older and I know better” card on her and shuts the door to Rhonda before viva pops her head out and tells her it’s for her own good and she’s protecting her.

Poppy stands there absolutely dumbfounded and hurt by this as they all drive away.

Viva and Clay both feel bad about what they did but they both just wanted to look after poppy.

Branch can’t help but sympathize with poppy situation as he knows EXACTLY what she’s feeling even though the two have never met before.

They drive off to mt. Rageouse to go save Floyd.

They practice their singing, JD is being too bossy, everyone gets annoyed and argues, viva sees branch is upset and tries to defuse the situation, branch gets hurt and leaves, viva follows him, viva tells him that he’s her best friend and she’ll always have his back.

They head off into mt. Rageouse and eventually find Floyd. Floyd warns them of velvet and veneer

Branch and viva hide

Velvet and veneer enter with the others. They trap them too and get ready for the red carpet.

Poppy is alone in her home scrapbooking to help her cope with the fact that they dude that practically raised her doesn’t believe in her capabilities and they her long lost sister treated her like a child when all of a sudden a scout bursts in and informs her that 2 Bergens have been spotted.

Poppy tells the scout to go inform the other scouts to spread the word and get into defensive position.

She knows viva said it was safe but better safe than sorry.

Poppy heads off into the clown.

Bridget and Gristle enter Hole n fun and get ambushed by a bunch of tiny trolls that tie them up and sit them down.

Poppy walks up to them before using a sticky hand to help pull herself up to their eye level.

She asks if they’re hostile and means her and her tribe any harm.

Bridget understands why she’d think that and offers her systematic desensitization. Poppy politely declines and apologizes for the inconvenience before cutting them loose.

Poppy asks if she knows viva and Bridget says yes. She tells Bridget that she’s Viva’s sister.

Poppy convinces Bridget to help her out and give her a ride to mt. Rageouse.

Before poppy leaves she leaves the scouts in charge and heads off with Bridget and Gristle

Velvet and veneer are on the red carpet when viva and branch crash in and call them frauds and tell them to release branch’s brothers

The chase begins and velvet and veneer begin preforming on the road.

Viva and branch chase them with branch trying to get to his brothers and viva driving.

Viva zooms around and branch tries to reach his brothers. Branch hits the hustle button and they get dropped off in the sky.

They’re falling when all of a sudden they were caught by a couple of sticky hands.

Viva asks what Bridget and Gristle are doing there and they and Bridget tells her that they ran into someone viva would like to see.

Poppy is on top of the motorcycle and jumps down to see viva.

Viva seems worried but ends up apologizing to poppy and poppy forgives her and tells her how their story is complicated and says who cares if it’s not perfect.

Poppy catches a glimpse of branch and gets embarrassed for a second but gets back into mission mode and helps them out.

They get onto the boat thanks to Bridget and Gristle and one by one start getting the brothers back.

Velvet and veneer keep preforming until just Floyd is left.

Branch remembered what poppy said and tells his brothers they just have to come as they are, together.

They start singing and hit the perfect family harmony

Floyd has his fake out death

Everyone is happy to finally all be back together

Velvet and Veneer get arested

Poppy, viva, and peppy finally reunited and get to catch up on lost time with poppy showing both of them her scrapbook

BroZone brothers are all socializing with one another

Branch shows off his new song, reveals his band, preforms, invites his brothers to preform with him, poppy loses her mind, viva is proud, branch invites poppy and viva on stage, they all preform together and have a blast

THE END

End note: This took FOREVER!!! Sorry if some bits seem rushed or not as descriptive. I worked on this for a few days and also this is just the general timeline for it and not an actual fic unfortunately. I’ll definitely answer questions about the combo of this au if anyone asks and will probably post some post 3rd movie cannon for this au as well so stay tuned and remember that my ask box is always open for questions/suggestions! <3
