 Additional notes/triggers:
After typing all this out I realize this seems more intense, violent, and triggering than I found it to be. Most likely because these difficult issues are dealt with very well; almost beautifully. It is realistic and honest without being gratuitous (most is not depicted on screen and when it is, it is rarely overt). The various triggers are explained mostly using euphemisms or just implied. Still, it is a movie about coping with trauma, both past and present, which could easily trigger people currently dealing with trauma.Â
