"M-Mikey, what are you..."

Jacky's voice was quiet and tired as he watched his mate start to move his IV. While Jacky had been here for his head injury, the nurses had discovered he was dehydrated, not to an alarming amount but enough that they wanted to administer fluids to him, just to keep him safe. Especially given that he had lost blood in his head during the fight, even though it hadn't even been a lot of blood. Jacky hated it; the administration of the fluids made his body more cold than he already felt. Still, he couldn't argue with it...

He was watching Michael's movements closely. Michael had only left him briefly that day, and it was only to run home and get some stuff from their house. Given that it was a head injury, the nurses planned to keep him overnight to keep an eye on his progression. This led Michael to run home quickly to get some overnight clothes, as well as a nicer blanket for Jacky and a few things to keep the both of them entertained while they were here all night.

Once it was clear to Jacky that Michael was trying to crawl onto the hospital bed with him, Jacky's lips quivered. He wasn't sure what it was, the fact that Michael was trying so hard to be so close to him, or the fact that it was just his emotions from the night all finally spilling out.

Regardless of the reason, as soon as Michael was on the bed and close enough to hug Jacky, he turned enough so his IVs wouldn't be bothered, and buried his face in Michael's chest. He burst into tears, sobbing and shaking enough that the entire bed was starting to shake. He was thankful he wasn't plugged up to a heart monitor or anything, as that would've brought more attention than he wanted.

"I hate it here...! I hate it here!" He cried into Michael's chest, thankfully it was muffled. He wasn't sure what he would've said or done if someone were to see him like this. Regardless, through all of his crying that he hated being in this room, there was still one thing he said to Michael that was a consistent.

"I'm sorry..."

He was sorry the two of them were here, again. He was sorry for the fight, he was sorry that Michael and Derek had to walk into that.
