On his way home from his classes that day, Jacky had been riding on his skateboard when the rain came pouring down, soaking him pretty much immediately. His own home was still a way’s away, and Michael was working and Jacky didn’t want to bother him. He was about to try to call Rozie when he remembered his father-in-law, Zeke, lived close by to the college. Of course, bothering Zeke wasn’t exactly at the top of Jacky’s list of things he’d like to do, but he didn’t have much of a choice in this situation.

Grey, that's all Michael saw when he was younger and even as he got older. He fell in love with different people, but none of them were really his soulmate because he didn't see color when he was with them. He believed he was doomed to go his whole life without seeing a single color; that was until he met Jacky.

The moment he laid eyes on the other male, his heart started beating quickly and loudly as the grey faded and was replaced with color! He had to play it cool and not rush up on the other male, exclaiming they were soulmates; maybe it was just a fluke.

He does walk up to him and smiles a bit. "Hey, hi. I uh.. My name's Michael."

Yet, when this male approached him… the color Jacky saw visibly overwhelmed him. His facial expression gave that away; Jacky looked like his whole life was flashing before his eyes. The colors were all so… gorgeous.

Jacky started to try to limp to get away, but as he did, his injured leg gave out under him and he ended up falling to his knees. Silently cursing as he looked up at the other, Jacky's face went from anger to sadness as the werewolf looked down at the ground.

After they move Jacky from the room, they close the curtain to give them and Bobby some privacy. Running footsteps could be heard approaching Jacky. Athena appears first, and then Buck, along with the rest of the 118 family.

"Jacky?" Athena says, reaching a hand out to touch his shoulder as she sits next to him. Buck and the others take their seats in the waiting room, giving Athena and Jacky some space.

"Athena..." Jacky choked out as he leaned against her, his whole body trembling as he cried on her shoulder. He knew she didn't mind - Athena had become like a mother to him since the day Bobby found him, and he needed her support right then.
