I talked a bit about my health issues before the remaster came out, and I wanted to thank you all for the well wishes.
Turns out, I have severe bruxism caused by stress which is why my jaw is hurting so much. I'm going to need multiple appointments with a maxillofacial specialist.
The pain is constant and really intense but my doctor is helping me find meds that actually work and reduce the pain without giving me too many side effects. As for eating, it’s difficult but nothing to do about it, except buying food that doesn’t require biting and/or chewing.
I haven’t stopped going to work so far but today and tomorrow are sick days.
I managed to play the remaster for an hour and a half today. (Jaw pain aside, I also get dizzy when I play too much. Yeah, I know…) I'm enjoying the remaster so much! I feel at home there and it makes me feel better about everything. I'm also recording my playthrough and taking screencaps of lore-relevant things.
But yeah, I'll be behind for a while. I mean, I’m really ashamed to say I didn’t even manage to finish “expose saren” so I’m still on the Citadel. But I hope you guys know me playing so little rn is not a reflection of my love and interest for this game. And I’m trying to keep looking at the tag and queuing posts. Seeing all your MELE joy and custom Shepards is making me happy. Thank you for that.
