this may be a long shot, but... much like me, i get the feeling you like characters that aren't usually very lucky in love. it's fun to imagine a character being surprised that someone they like, likes them back! makes you feel like they'd really think of you as something special. plus it's fun to imagine your fav characters all flustered about ya.
