Hello all. Yeah, I know I've been off my game with submissions lately. Just a lot going on that I've let take over my life (some things of which I probably didn't need to). But recently, I was corresponding to pottersparky, a longtime fan of my Danny Phantom fanfics, who I've sadly kept waiting far too long for a new story. And while I still don't have a new one written yet (though I AM working on it), I wanted to give her something for her birthday (which is tomorrow, at the time of this posting), just to let her know that her boundless faith in me remains appreciated.

Now I can already hear you asking, "What have you got going on with Danny and Sam's eyes? That's not right!". Well, this actually ties in to the next DP story I'm working on (currently entitled, "Of One Mind"...or possibly "Syncing Up", I haven't decided yet). Many, if not most DP fans know that one of the early concept plans for Sam was that she and Danny were supposed to share a psychic link. The idea was ultimately scrapped to avoid giving Sam more agency over Tucker in the friend group, but since I have Sam and Tucker taking up different roles on Team Phantom, I figured I'd dust if off and implement it in my stories.

One could argue that I've been teasing it since as far back as my story, "Hearts and Minds", but I only really started calling attention to it in my story, "A Family Thing". Well, "Of One Mind" is finally going to bring the whole thing to a head, as well as explain what this connection actually IS. Some of you, in the inner circle, already know about it, most of you don't. So for those who don't wish to be spoiled, I won't reveal it here, or what it all entails. But I will confirm that, just as this pic implies, their eyes turn silver whenever the connection is active. So, that's what's going on there.

But the pic is also making one other thing perfectly clear...when you can communicate telepathically, you don't have to go very far to find privacy. After all, no one else needs to know what's going on inside their heads. For those of you who are wondering what they're thinking in this image...well, let's just leave that up to your imagination. And for anyone who'd like to submit their theories on that, let's try to keep the comments at least PG, okay?

It’s Never Too Late For A Fresh Start

Hello all. Well, here I am again, trying to get things back on track, mostly thanks to the extra free time I have over the summer. I did have other projects in mind for this week. But then, last week (at the time of this posting), I happened to catch MY Adventures with Superman, which gave us a new version of Giganta, and that's pretty much where my head went. Honestly, I'm a little surprised more people haven't jumped on this right from the start. I could see the AI prompters waiting for more images they can copy off of, but for artists with ACTUAL ability, this felt like a no-brainer.

As for the pic, itself, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, given my first attempt at drawing in this style. The only thing I got a little lost on was the shading, which seems kind of oddly applied, but I think I managed to fake it.

Anyway, not much else to say beyond that, except that there's also an NSFW version out there for those in the know. Hope everyone likes what they see. And know that the extra free time will give me a chance to hopefully tackle some larger projects I've been meaning to get off my plate for a while now.

Hello, all. And Happy Valentine's Day long weekend, at the time of this posting. ^_^

Well, between issues with my computer and marinating over the holidays, what I was afraid would happen, ultimately happened.  I fell out of my artwork routine and it took me a while to get back into it.  Of course, I do have plenty of pics on my plate.  I just have to get back into the rhythm of drawing them again.  So, to kick things off, I thought I'd go with something relatively simple, while sticking with something that was relatively in the spirit of the season, so to speak.

As we all know, Possible women have a secret weapon for manipulating people into doing things they'd prefer not to. So powerful is the infamous "puppy dog pout" that even those who wield it are not immune to its malevolent influence. However, since getting together with Ron, Kim has found another way to get him to go along with something he might normally have reservations about. A method that's far more effective, and A LOT more fun to implement. As you can see, Ron can only hold out for so long. ^_^

All-in-all, I'm pleased with the end result. There may be no background to speak of, but I hardly think the image needs it. While I saw this as a good opportunity to once again showcase Ron with some fashion tweaks of my own design, the idea for Kim's outfit came from a DA member, who wanted to see Kim in a classic Season 2 outfit, only with a slight change in black loafers (don't ask me why, it's just his thing). Since this particular ensemble has seen some tweaks as the series wore on, I didn't see any harm in adding a few of my own. And while Kim is partially obscured, you can still see one of her shoes, so I think it works fine.

Anyway, hopefully, this is me getting back into the swing of things, art-wise. And hopefully, everyone likes what they see. As always, comments are appreciated. And if anyone would like to hit me up for some commission info, that would be nice too.

Continuing my efforts to get a maintain a steady flow of submissions, this is an old request that came to me from a DA member, who asked me to draw a pic of Kim Possible and Jazz Fenton from Danny Phantom in a boxing match. While I was intrigued by the pitch, to be honest, I couldn't picture any fight between Kim and Jazz where Kim wouldn't just completely mop the floor with her. So, I decided to tweak the concept slightly, by having Kim training Jazz instead.

I mean, it kind of tracks, right? While I don't think anyone can deny that Jazz's heart has always been in the right place, she has a bad habit of letting her enthusiasm overwhelm her logic, and it tends not to register with her when she finds herself in over her head. I guess you could say she takes after her father in that regard. So, getting some pointers from someone of Kim's caliber definitely would not be the worst idea in the world.

Okay, so I touched up that previous KP pic to warm up for this one. This is actually an image that I've been keeping in the back of my mind for quite some time, but never got around to actually drawing it.

Those familiar with my KP fanfics will recognize this image as based on a scene from my story "Far From the Tree", which sees James and Anne coming home one evening to find Kim and Ron passed out on the couch after returning from a mission. Anne, of course, is deeply moved what she sees and wishes she could take a picture without waking them up. James, meanwhile, is being a typical dad about it and grumbling uncomfortably.

“Oh, stop,” Anne responds with a reassuring tone. “This is no different than when they were kids, remember?  They’d go outside, run around until they got exhausted, then they’d come back in and pass out, just like this…”

“…Honestly, they’ve been sleeping together since they were SEVEN.”

All-in-all, I'm pleased with how this one turned out. Not only am I glad to have this image down on paper, so to speak, but I also think this is a good way to make a statement to all those people on fanfiction.net who are running around, begging people for art commissions (most, if not all of which are talentless AI prompters, I guarantee you). Honestly, it's tantamount to cyber-panhandling and it's been driving me crazy, lo, these many months. But anyway, ignoring my little soapbox rant there, I hope you all like what you see. Hello all. In keeping with my current run of pics, I thought I'd put out some more Kim Possible stuff. At time of this posting, I actually did get this done yesterday, as intended. I was simply too tired to post, so I decided to leave it for this morning.

This was an image that had been in my head for a while, just of Kim and Ron getting into a downtown nightclub and just having the chance to let it all hang out for a while. Those familiar with my work will recognize Kim's outfit from an earlier picture. In fact, it was actually suggested to me that I use this particular dress when I was struggling to figure out what to put her in. Ron, meanwhile, is serving as an example of how little changes can pay big dividends, keeping the turtleneck/cargo pants combo, but replacing the hockey jersey with something else. In earlier pics, I used a vest, which I still like a lot, but I wanted to give him something else for this pic. So here, I went with just an open shirt, with sleeves you can roll up and strap in place. This kind of leans into the spirit of the old hockey jersey, but adds a certain evolution that I think says "College Ron". It also reveals a particular ensemble addition Kim provided for him in Season 3 that was normally kept hidden. And the shirts can even be given different colors to give it variety. Think Superman: The Animated Series where they always kept the same Clark Kent and Lois Lane designs, but would just swap out the colors occasionally to create the illusion of design changes.

All-in-all, I'm pleased with the result. Some tweaks had to be done later on, which I'm definitely glad I went back and did. And while the background may be simple, it's definitely what I was looking for. But anyway, I hope you like what you see. As always, comments are appreciated.

Happy Halloween, all! ^_^

(Yeah, I know it's November at the time of this posting. Shut up. Don't act like you're not gonna be doing Halloween stuff all weekend anyway.)

Well, with a new computer comes a new posting to test it. And this was the idea for a Halloween pic that came to me several months ago, when I happened across a video of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" (to this day, still one of Disney's most iconic feature animations).

The image, itself, is pretty straightforward, seeing Kim and Ron passing through Sleepy Hollow on Halloween night (basically, the worst time of the year to be there if Bing Crosby is to be believed), where they encounter a rather infamous figure of legend. Now, could they outfight him? Probably. Could they outrun him? DEFINITELY. But they receive another surprise when another individual makes his presence known. Those of you who know my fanfics are, no doubt, familiar with my OC, Maximilian, and what he can do. So it's gonna take more than a ghost with a sword and no head to put him on his back heels.

All in all, I'm happy with how the image turned out. Not my best take on Rufus, perhaps, but I threw him in there basically at the last minute. I'm happy with how the Horseman turned out, especially since drawing animals isn't something I do a lot of. But I'm definitely happy with how Max looks. I took the time to add a little tweak to his design, specifically having the tails of his jacket dissipate into trails of glittering smoke that he usually emanates when he uses his magic. Speaking of which, I'm also very pleased with the effects I threw in. Definitely something I'll be doing in the future.
