Okay something seems to be up with my browser or parts of my system files that use my browser.
Sometimes I'll go to the page for a tag with apostrophes, like:
http://tumblr.com/tagged/my-dad's-not-a-phone
(emphasis on lack of "www")
but instead my browser will forcibly take me to this page instead:
http[colon]//ww5.tutumblr.com/tagged/my-dad%27s-not-a-phone
which is basically some stupid contentless crap.
The annoying thing is, it's client-side--my browser will impose the change of URL and THEN connect to the resultant URL.
I googled this problem and nothing useful at all turned up.
I might give this machine a thorough scan. Maybe running an anti-spyware problem may help too.
