These characters include; Blair Clarimonde (they/them): Heir to the thrown of Dunova. Their quote is "Words are only as good as the actions that follow them" Cassandra (she/her): The former captain of the Skyrider force. Her quote is "Ignore the warnings of this World at your own risk." Edgar (he/him): A young inventor who survived a mysterious incident. His quote is "I like to think that what we have today was not a gift from the Gods." Lavinge Fallbright (she/her): The princess of the kingdom of Armorica, conquered by the Empire. Her quote is "Today you shall know the full extent of my suffering." Very neat!

There are a total of 15 core classes in Fabula Ultima, all based on different jobs and roles found in many JRPGs. One of these classes is: The Arcanist - A summoner class that focuses on summoning Arcanums, which manifest when the Arcanist projects a small piece of their soul outside of their body, giving it its own physical form!

Fabula Ultima uses a special mechanic called a clock! They are used as a countdown before a certain event triggers. They can have four to twelve parts, and they are placed out in the open for all the players to see! It's a great way to build tension!

Unlike Dungeons and Dragons, Fabula Ultima uses four attributes: Dexterity, Insight, Might, and Willpower. When rolling for these, you roll two dice, ranging from a d6 to a d12, depending on your skill level in the attribute(s) the roll calls for. Rolling two double numbers that are 6 or higher (6+6, 7+7, 8+8, etc) guarantees a success, no matter the difficulty level! On the other hand, rolling a double 1 guarantees a failure, or a fumble. But don’t worry! Fumbles grant the player a Fabula Point, which allow you to influence to the story by evoking certain traits, fueling your powerful abilities, or more!
