Notes from week 7.

Notes after 1247 pm are from a studio tutorial.

In relation to these notes I want to borrow a projector from technical resources to project the illustration of birch trees into the dark space of studio 203 to build a space of identity.

If I can not make the projector compatible with my technology i Will try to animate it, in order to have a more developed idea from it.

[after a tutorial I had to take a little break in work to reevaluate what I was going to make, why I was making it and what I wanted to do on this course.

I used the weekend at the end of group 5 to think of new paths of inquiry and ways that I could make things.

-Last shot needs work, better punchline? Get rid of box on the street set, maybe make it obvious that he has lost his house

-Pan out to him in the dirt spot where his house once was

-Music change to avoid awkward legal grey area

-Remove zoom out frame and just go in on the crotch

-Runway walk change?

-Make it so that the R of the logo isn’t lost

-Potentially cut it down to five frames to keep momentum

when doing post production, make it so that the Art logo strobes on the screen

text movement needs some additional work

Arm pose when grabbing the bottle (the elbow in particular)

Add the moving assets, such as the spiralling DNA shapes and the graphs and logos

Pull focus on the first shot

Use a gavel hit sound when you cut to the next shot

Sound and Effects element consideration needs to be resolved further

Consider the display in some of the adverts (for example, the Legs advert - how everything is presented and placed)

Consider recording reference footage for some poses

Advertise some of the products with a star field background behind them

Change the order/shot compositions of the Gyrogym and the Guillotine adverts as they are currently match in style

Have some more orbs in the Orb advert, some with different levels of light and colouration

Consider GladOs from Portal, how the synthesised voice could deliver sarcastic remarks

Look into theme-park theming videos (Star Tours, Back to the Future Ride, Terminator) - videos which help set up the theme of the ride and the story of the ride

Unify the animatic, have better organisation of the files and folders that you use for the animatic

Research into the theme park theming videos, Ceefax, other elements used in 80s advertisements

Record necessary reference footage

Have a fully envisioned animatic by the end of Easter

I missed a session where we met with a tutor and discussed ideas. My teammates took notes for me on which parts of my sequences need improvement
