Today I had a tutorial with my tutor Jonny to discuss my progress with the three projects I am undertaking and to ask him a few questions about the work checks and some concerns that I have about my work.

I firstly wanted to discuss the work check with my tutor as I have several different deadlines that I have to meet. As my deadlines are at different dates I want to focus on the projects that need to be completed soonest, as this makes sense, although the tutors have told us that all of the projects should be at around the same stage when we have our work check. I then discussed this with my tutor and he informed me that work check will be put back a week so that we have more time for fulfil these demands.

From this tutorial we realised that we need to understand and define a audience, who we are aiming this protest to. 

Are we trying to open up the arts and culture in society to a wider audience because how certain events such as the ballet are exclusive to ‘high class people’ who can afford to go to these arts 

We need to come up with a strategy about who we are aiming at which then will help us get what our message is about. 

An idea to help brainstorm we will bring a number of ideas together and experiment and quickly produce lots of poster ideas to start producing work.

People feel certain things are only available to a selective of people, who can afford it. So we could use this as a visual metaphor of being selective.

Creativity comes from restrictions or starting with something being very limited.is arts and culture to exclusive

Look into how social media is used to promote and share awareness for certain charities. -is money a form of censorship

Look into Alan Fletcher & Sagmeister

For my campaigns I need to focus on how the copy and images will sit together and the illustrations should be more bold and the text should not be so big.
