I just stay in my lane tbh. Don’t see the point in wasting energy on something I dislike when I can blacklist and block lol.

I know what I like, I know what I’m about, and I’m not forcing anyone to interact with my content. I’m making this for me (and tagging accordingly!) and I think it shows in my art.

Totally understand why you’d bail on the show and not come back but I will say that season 4 has GREAT Harry and Iris content especially in the back end of the season, and while season 5 has a new Wells that tends to be annoying, his story intersects with Iris’ perfectly. Just excellent WestWells content all-around! 

I have a theory about Spike & Julia I’ve been dying to share: there was something I noticed with Spike’s reaction when he and Julia reunited at the cemetery. He wasn’t very…receptive at first, and it could be due to her evasiveness or absence up until that point. But it could also be that their relationship was actually abusive.

Now I use the term loosely since no one actually knows the true nature of their relationship, but I got the sense that they weren’t the ideal pair, and past the honeymoon phase, Julia may have been manipulative and verbally abusive, while Spike didn’t have the best temperament (although I feel like it was more from her though, but unreliable narration). It may have been toxic and the time away from Julia helped Spike realize that.

He’s perhaps taken this realization while simultaneously hanging onto the idea of Julia - the woman who did inspire him to break out of his dream/nightmare and keep living. So when they did meet up again, Spike hesitated but ultimately decided to go “fuck it” and took the chance and finally go with the woman who inspired him in the first place. Or it could literally be that no matter how bad things were, he just couldn’t leave. He’s either too unnerved or too involved to reject Julia and everything he’s seen her represent, especially involving his future.
