I DO THIS TOO My custom sounds are usually named things like "grunch" and "bweeeezst" and "chuzz"
hecks yeah!! onomatopoeia buds!!! ❤️
Does Holly have a gruff voice or a smooth one?
Discussing it with Anthony, her voice is a little raspy. Trying to think of characters to compare her voice to, he went with “Rainbow Dash, but a bit less excitable and somewhat deeper,” if that helps. Maybe like Jasper from Steven Universe, just... friendly
He also established that Provence probably sounds like Princess Bubblegum, just with a more stern and serious way of speaking most of the time. And Rhett probably sounds a bit like Gilda from MLP. He also compared Rhett’s mannerisms to Bulk Biceps, Macho Man Randy Savage, and Ruby when she was angry in the pool in Keystone Motel
What's the biggest sword Allison had ever swung
one time she tried to swing a 10 foot long claymore and she just fell over
Are spellbook powers equipable? Can you mix and match powers for different effects (like fire that freezes, or maybe three lightning books for a triple charged attack) or is it one and done kind of deal?
I’ll be elaborating on spellbooks and the types of abilties you can gain from them later! But basically, the idea is that every party member has a set of basic abilities that they learn as they level up, and they can also all equip one spellbook at a time to expand their movesets
Spellbooks can either be purchased from a shop or found out in the world, and as long as a spellbook is equipped, that party member will instantly be able to use all the abilities taught by that book. Maybe you think Claire could use some healing spells, or Jodie could use some fire attacks. If you wanna try out something different, you can just swap out books

Is It Eate?
Quick draw for my buddy @turtle-tales. I seem to draw a lot for him but what can I say? Has really fun characters.
Basically small warrior vs giant slime dragon whom I both love. Go figure
Love doing this style; it only takes about two hours to make something. Might set it up as a comm deal if anyone is interested?
Took a break from Uni work (2 whole hours) to draw something quickly for my mate: http://turtle-tales.tumblr.com/ Wee baby goop dragon gotta eat to grow up big and strong!...Will possibly then try to eat you.
I finally got around to westbound that MLP episode where Big Mac dresses up as a lady to help Applebloom win the Sisterhooves Social, and I'm confused because I remember there being A LOT of anger towards that episode, and I don't quite see why..? Is it similar to the Uncle Grandpa dressed as Rose Quartz thing? Sorry to bug you, I just remember you having strong opinions about it and thought you could enlighten me
it plays into a lot of transmisogynist tropes for the sake of cheap laughs
all the bits where it’s like “wow this is so funny because this big dude is CLEARLY not a woman, he’s just wearing a dress and makeup!” is derived from that. everything about it. his adam’s apple showing. his over-the-top “girly” mannerisms. his stereotypical drag queen look. all the bits where he’s afraid that someone will see through his act. that’s the joke. the joke is that you’re supposed to take one look at him and go “THAT’S not a girl,” and then his discomfort is supposed to be funny
intentionally or not, that’s what it evokes, and it’s incredibly painful for someone like me to watch
