A delicious take on the traditional hot brown sandwich is this Kentucky Hot Brown Bake. It has a crescent roll crust and tastes like turkey, bacon, and cheesy goodness. Ideal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this recipe is sure to become a favorite among the whole family.
Ingredients: 1 package of crescent rolls. 1 pound of cooked turkey, sliced or shredded. 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled. 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved. 1/2 cup of mayonnaise. 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour. 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard. 1/2 teaspoon of salt. 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon of paprika. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until lightly golden. While the crust is baking, in a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, all-purpose flour, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined. Spread the cooked turkey evenly over the baked crescent roll crust. Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the turkey and spread it out to cover the turkey. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the mayonnaise mixture. Place the halved cherry tomatoes on top of the cheese layer, and then sprinkle the crumbled bacon over everything. Bake in the preheated oven for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
