Recently, I became interested in micro RC cars. I have always been into RC cars, but they used to be very big. Now, we have RC cars smaller than a matchbox with full proportional steering and throttle. I bought some of the 1:76 scale micro RC from Turbo Racing and decided to create a modular reconfigurable track.
Here’s what the final results look like.
Corrugated plastic sheet was used as the base (cut into 17cm x 17cm pieces), and self-adhesive foam padding (1cm wide x 1cm thick) was used as the barrier.
I then designed some connectors that clips on to the foam barriers to join the pieces together. These can be downloaded here.
This track can be easily taken apart for packing and there are many possible ways to layout the track.
