An easy evasion from Mungojerrie! He was in the front, so he saw The Tail clearly and managed to step over it.

Admetus wasn't even thinking about the tail. He was too busy leaning over to grin and bop her on the head with his shoebox paw. Near miss on the tail front.

Carbuckety saw it a moment too late! A glancing blow from that kitten's hindpaw! The tail perceptibly shifted! 🙀 Will Bill Bailey do better?

... no, wait, wait, it looks like Bill Bailey's going to try to copy Admetus and go in for the head-bop—HOLD THE PHONE, HE SLIPPED! BILL BAILEY HAS SLIPPED! Not only did he tread with all his weight on the tail, he slipped forward and booted Demeter in the butt! Surely the judges will call foul!

No need. She will have her revenge.

or at least, shake her paw at their retreating backs.
