We went to the Tule River this week, which is up past Springville, northeast of Bakersfield. Going with the nicest of people (to me, not you) my best friend, boyfriend, and his sister, I had no qualms about my figure which was such a relief! We stopped at the dollar store and bought baby inner tubes, Slim Jims, and cheap sunglasses for my love, who will probably lose them by next week. 

The spot we like to go is a magical oasis that people here don't give one fuck about and so the riverbank has quite a few areas that look like this:

Past the dirty diapers, left behind underwear, and piles of human shit is a beautiful river that we just love to get drunk in. We had a 12 pack of Pabst and an 18 pack of Coors Lite, and I have to say I'm not only incredibly annoying after 10 beers but not so graceful at walking on slippery rocks either.
