The Unusual Knight (fantasy AU, Closed)
It wasn’t the biggest problem in the world, not really, but pretty old of one. every other month for nearly 8 years a particular town in one of the southern regions of the Sunny kingdom, would complain of burned houses, farms, and a wild monster of a bird destroying it, but it never got past that point. Every time some one was sent out, they brought back no sight of it. Sure every so often some one sent him exotic bird feathers, but they were often cold.
So the King had little choice after 8 years and a little pressure from the queen, to call one of his knights, and give them task of solving this semi regular firebird issue. Killing it preferably. The one best for the job, was Sir Charming. Which wasn’t really his name, though he had absolutely earned his knighthood, it was nickname from the court treasurer that had stuck. It was better than his other nicknames, for he was a rather unusual knight.. Despite that he was rather well liked and would at the very least be able to sooth the small townspeople if he could not totally solve the problem.
