Travel There: Shakopee, MN - Canterbury Park, Amsoil Championship Snocross. Bundle up, it was 0 degrees and we spent a few hours outside watching the whirring and speeding of snowmobiles racing around what is normally a horse track! It's quite the spectacle - lots of cold weather racing gear, amazing fried food - pronto pups and cheese curds, and literally ice cold beer. Watched the beginning heats and the racers warm up for the final Pro Open, where close to 15 racers qualified. The winner, Tucker Hibbert, a local fave took the checkered flag after a few quick, banking maneuvers the final laps! Pure excitement - the entire crowd gets into it... Even if they can't feel their fingers or toes!
