We are officially open!

Welcome to twentythreeyearslater-rp, a roleplay group loosely based on the events of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. We’re continuing where the play left off, and going more in depth on the life of Harry Potter and his family and friends, as well as new and familiar faces. 

Though of course, nothing in the Wizarding World stays peaceful for long. There’s a new danger brewing, one that may even be a bigger threat than Lord Voldemort himself. It’s up to the witches and wizards of today to either stay united or fall apart, but that all depends on their alignments and connections to each other. 

No matter what you align as, or you were sorted into, or whether you’re a student, teacher or many of the busy workers at the Ministry -- you’re accepted here! Application acceptance day is tomorrow, so remember to get your apps in before 10pm GMT (so 6pm EST) if you wish to be accepted!

Due to some demand, we’ll also be lifting the Gryffindor ban within the next week so if you wish to be a Gryffindor, keep an eye out for when that ban is lifted!

Opening Day!

We are pleased to announce it’s the first official opening day of Twenty Three Years Later! You can now post starters and have your characters interact! Remember to follow the ttylstarter tag and check it out every day! 

Applications will now be accepted every Monday and Thursday, and activity will now be checked! If you are inactive for four days straight, you will be given a 24 hour notice. If you are still inactive, you will be removed.

Hello everybody!

Although we did state original characters and additional canon’s would not be accepted until three characters on the list were taken, we have decided to lift that ban due to a high demand of requests of people wanting to bring their orginals in earlier. We have reworked the application form to include space for you to add your own affiliation notes. We are always around to help and answer questions regarding it. 

Other things to note:

Gryffindors are still banned until the numbers have evened out for the other houses, particularly Slytherin and Hufflepuff. As soon as the numbers have evened out, Gryffindors will be free to play again

You can use an FC who is currently used as a placeholder if you so wish, and any FC you feel comfortable with unless they are on the banned list

All the bios are now up! We already have three taken playable characters and will need three more before I allow OC’s and other canons that are not on the list!

Applications are open all day every day from now until July 1st when the acceptance schedule will be released and the game properly starts! The FC’s can be changed if you so desire, and it’s completely up to you on what their allignment is. Any questions regarding the bios, characters or RP in general are encouraged, and you can reserve an FC or character for 24 hours to give you time to get your application in! Please remember to reserve off-anon so we know who we’re saving for.

Only five more bios to be released! For any of those waiting for the full set, they will be up at sometime tomorrow! I cannot name exact times yet as I am spending a good portion of my day travelling. However, you are free to submit applications 24/7 and game play starts July 1st!

We understand the majority are waiting until all bios are released and we promise, after a small hiccup regarding graphics and queues, the final ten will be released sporadically over the next couple of days. From Luna to Victoire! In the mean time, check out bios already posted for some characters you may have an interest in!

Three playable characters (McGonagall doesn’t count, see post here for details) have already been picked, and we only need three more before the additional character ban (including OC’s) is lifted! We also reserve characters and faceclaims for 24 hours, so if you want to reserve a character until their bio is released, please do so! So check us out!
