I’ve been napping a bit, and just did a writing session of about an hour, where I wrote 2,085 words on TTSBA! I’ve got two scenes done!

I’m only missing three more scenes (a bit longer ones, sure, but only three!) and then the post-credits scene (a short but sweet one) and I’ll be done with TTSBA!

Are we excited about that? I know I am!

Here’s a little excerpt from what I wrote tonight:

“Putting her fingers under Thor’s chin, she forces him to look up. He has tears in his eyes - in this moment, Queen Ramonda reminds him of his own mother, Frigga, so very much. She would do all in her power to strengthen her son’s position and make sure that he didn’t forget where he came from.”

So, there it is!

Last big chapter for TTSBA. It’s decidedly shorter than I had hoped, since I cut two scenes which were keeping me from writing anymore on it, but I put them in the end notes of the chapter!

This means that I only have the last, post credits scene to write, and that should be fairly easy <3

The energy of the battlefield has shifted. There’s no doubt about it - but what previously felt like a losing battle has suddenly turned into something more. Something they might actually win.

The pathway opened by Stormbreaker is open still, and pouring from the darkest pits of Hel itself, Asgardian warriors are storming through, finding their match in the Chitauri, who are suddenly, it would seem, at a disadvantage. Chitauri warriors have fought these Asgardians before, sending them to their deaths in the halls of Valhalla the first time. But now, these fighters have come back from their eternal hall to fight for their mistress and for all life in the Multiverse. It is a fight that needs all fighters, and being dead is no excuse.

However, as the light of the explosion dissipates, it takes a couple of seconds for all the warriors to find out that Thanos himself has returned to the battlefield. He stands, haggard, as if he has just been through a one-on-one battle himself, brow furrowed as he thinks. It takes a couple of seconds for all the Chitauri currently not fighting someone to realize that Thanos is not going to give them a new order, and as they all follow his gaze, they realize he is looking in one exact direction with eyes as wide and as lost as they have ever seen him.

Not many things can scare Thanos, the Mad Titan, but the sight that greets him at the shining pits of Hel does just that.

Sat upon the back of Fenris, the mighty wolf, the Destroyer of Worlds, Hela sits, throwing knives and spears around her, a grin and her eyes bristling with energy. She is a Goddess of Death. This is her battlefield now, and judging by the look on Thanos’ face, he knows it too. (cont.)

A surprise update of ‘Til the skies bleed ashes, thanks to the Anon who asked when I was going to update, which got me writing, so I wrote almost 9k in four days or something, so! 

And I’m like.

Past!Me didn’t even bother to plan out this chapter, so it’s really up to me right now to finish everything, isn’t it???? Past!Me could’ve given me a head’s up.

BUT. ANYWAY.
