Just Another Day at the Islands. (Open)
Over the last few days, it had been storming down in Destiny Islands pretty hard. It wasn't so bad that houses had been destroyed or anything like that, but Sora couldn't get out of the house for a few minutes without being completely soaked, down to his socks. And that was never a good feeling.
But today was different. The sky was a clear blue, the clouds were white and puffy, and best of all, the sun was shining. No rain!
Sora took this opportunity to run out of the house and paddle all the way to the island where he and his friends always played. He was excited to be enjoying his day sunbathing with--
...He forgot to ask his friends to come with him. Not the smartest move on his part.
Not wanting to return to the main island and get his friends, he decided to entertain himself by doodling on the sand. He drew pictures of the gummi ship, the friends he met in travels, and his friends back home. He continued to do this until someone showed up at the island.
That was SO NOT Borrowing! (SoKai)
Perhaps he should have said something at the time of his return, otherwise he would never be in this situation. But now it had happened, nothing could be done about it. The only thing that could be done was to have a serious talk with Kairi about the matter.
Sora could still recall the frantic and angry tone of the mayor's voice as he demanded to know where Kairi was. As if Sora could have known! He hadn't done a good job of spending time with her since he came back home, so he didn't know where she had gone off to. But he did know that his Gummi ship was missing. Was it a coincidence that one of his beloved possessions and his beloved --friend, of course. -- would be missing within a small time frame? Of course not.
So now he waited at the front of Kairi's house, where he hoped she would return unscathed. He wasn't quite sure if he was angry at her for taking his Gummi (or at least, he thought she took it. He couldn't prove that yet.). But he did know he was very worried. Considering past events, if Kairi was not home, something might have happened to her.
