#ttrack

It has been a year and only the one post? Who knew? I have spend a lot of time this past year thinking about trains and a train set up.  I came home with all that great CNW stuff last year from the Granite City Train Show.  I went back this year to take a look.  I found a few more cars ( to be detailed in a future post), and inspiration.  

There is a TTrack group in MN!  They are not very close to me (about 150 miles away), but I could put together a layout of TTrack and bring modules along to various shows and participate!  How cool could that be?

See, this past year I have been reading up quite a bit.  I took a subscription to Model Railroader and to Model Railroader Hobbyist.  Both have been swell reading.  I read the McGuirk book and read another, Shelf Layouts by Ian Rice (LINK).  Both of these, even though I could adapt, seem to be too big for me.  

Now, I have an investment in the N Scale which I have already purchased, and don't want to let that go away.  And I have many, many, many scenes in my mind that I would like to model.  Thus, TTrack, I can make small scenes and not need to worry about transitions between scenes.  Though I may well loose the expansive sense one can get from running long n scale trains through the countryside.
