Which brings me to my first point, he has a very sad, angsty story. So that means he's the PERFECT material for a fanfic. You could write a fanfic about his misery, or idk you could make an OC that would save him and then have a fluffy hurt/comfort fanfic.

But noooooo

That hasn't happened yet. But why????

Well firstly he's a taskline manager (where all of them are kinda ignored by the fandom and ttcc staff) and that his boss fight isn't super interesting compared to like Graham's boss fight.

But wait then, with that logic, wouldn't like Comso be pretty popular??? Nope.

I've noticed that a lot of the time, a character in the ttcc fandom is popular because they are attractive. Cosmo nor Winston are really attractive (in the conventional way). Literally the only reason why Misty, Chip, and Graham are all popular is because most people find them attractive. "B- but I also feel bad for themmm" WHAT DO YOU MEAN?????? Out of all of them Chip is the only one you should really feel bad for, in my opinion Misty's "sad" character is a joke. She CHOSE to work for the evil corporation, but once toons don't like her she acts like the victim.

You only feel bad for them because you find them hot first. That's why you give them attention.

Why I personally like Winston is because he still feels like more of a Cog, not a Tumblr sexyman or an OC. Winston is a morally gray character and is still very obviously a robot. Yes he's a shitty person for trying to brainwash the toons in Ye Olde Toontown. But yet he didn't deserve being imprisoned and forgotten about for YEARS. He's still the stereotypical evil cog but I feel bad for him. He is what I wanted when I think of a modernized, rebooted Toontown.

My real problem with the other managers I complained about is that the game makes you empathize with them because they made them more Toony, which a cog shouldn't be. Winston isnt more Toony, but I still love his character.

But yeah I just think his backstory, design, personality, and trauma are all overlooked just because he isn't powerful, flashy, or Toony like the other popular managers.

Also I just wanted to add on my favorite rare pair, Witch Hunter x PRR. Doomed old men robot yaoi is my favorite :)
