Teen Titans fandom about season 6:
Beast Boy suddenly receives a text from Terra’s number:
I would have assumed this was an animation error that the ice was just randomly floating, but this shot calls such attention to it that it must be on purpose.
Perhaps Terra has gained water-bending powers and all my Avatar Terra jokes are finally coming true.
Pfft! I mean, you’re already sad because it’s Monday, so that’s probably the best time to throw in a sad episode like this. That’s got to such though in the days before any kind of streaming service. I mean, if you missed it because it was unannounced, what can you even do? I literally don’t remember how we dealt with this kind of problem back then.

If I were to rank the heroes by how much property damage they cause accidentally, it would go:
5. Beast Boy 4. Starfire 3. Robin 2. Cyborg 1. Raven
Although if Terra’s back and I now have to count her, she clearly wins, as she does more property damage than everyone else combined.
You might be okay with how Teen Titans ended but the fandom isn't.
Of course not, there’s a lot left unanswered about the whole situation. Has BB gone mad? Was it all just a memory? How did Terra get out of the rock? Was that actually her? If so, does she not remember or is she just pretending not to? Does Slade have anything do to with this or perhaps that weird material-goblin?
One thing I would like to see is BB befriend Terra again. Even accepting that she’s not the same way you remember. If this is Terra, and she’s lost her memory, perhaps she can eventually get it back, or even just become familiar enough with Beast Boy that the memory loss barely matters. If she instead has her memory and is trying to run away from what happened, perhaps BB can eventually show he’s worth staying around for.
Since the series was ending at that point anyway, I’m just fine to let it be. Now if they we’re to continue the series, this would have to be resolved in one way or another.
At the very least, I imagine the fanfiction on this particular topic is abundant.
Beast Boy: Terra, it’s me, Beast Boy!
Gretchen: You know him?
Terra: *shrug*
Okay, two options here. One, Terra lost her memory. Not sure about this, because it can’t be an accident she’s here. She managed to escape her tomb and form enough of an identity that she could get into a school. Maybe she had help from someone else, but who could that possibly be?
The other option is that she wants nothing to do with any of this. All the stuff that happened in season 2 was traumatic for all involved, so perhaps she wants a clean break, so she can move on. Although if going back to pretending none of this happened was her goal, she could have picked a better town to live in where she won’t be found by the Titans.
I have no idea.
