My hero academia chapter 222. Where do I begin? First let’s talk about the cover photo. Not only promoting the 2nd movie that comes out this winter surprisingly but I love how Deku is mothra. And his friends reaction lol. But to the main story. We find out the origin of Shigaraki in more detail from what his family looked like, how it was like when All for One took him in his own, to more confirmation that the doctor we see in the beginning that says Izuku is quirkless, is infact that doctor who works for All For One. As many of us knew since the beginning and that Horikoshi is proving himself to be a great writer and expanding his world’s lore. Poor corgi...I’m not one to admit this much but I legit cried for a few minutes when seeing his family and his reaction to the loss of them. We also see doctor Tsubusa is indeed a cruel man and a mad scientist then again it’s hinted now that he did use his own grandson to be a noumo. Shigaraki has earned the trust of the Doctor (even though the Doctor still sees him as a man who still thinks like a kid) but now he just needs to get Gigantomachia on his side. How the chapter ends however we see police tape around and the leader of the Quirk Liberation Army wall away. The real question is...did he kill Giran? We'll find that out next week. I give this chapter a solid 15/10 cuz that’s how good it was to me.
